The Cowboys are number 1 in offense but what's even more impressive is they are now number 7 in scoring defense and can easily move into the top 5 this week. Now compared to last year's disaster the Cowboys defense has made a turnaround like no other unit in the NFL and with numbers like this they should be able to make an impact in the playoffs.

Wow. Amazing.

The offense is still inept , unless playing lower caliber teams. The fire and going for broke mentality that was there in the beginning of the season is gone. They play scared now. Too scared for a turnover, etc.

Impact in the playoffs? One and done.

The D has been an amazing turnaround. The offense stats are smoke and mirrors. Huge games early on— and a couple of other blowouts along the way— and in between? Flat, sloppy, inconsistent slogs.

It’s a little bit on Kellen. A little bit on Dak. A little bit on the OL. A little bit on the WRs. A little bit on Zeke. But add it all up— and this offense— which is supposed to be SB worthy— is leaking oil down the stretch.

Doesn’t mean they can’t tighten things up and make some magic happen— but pointing to stats and their #1 ranking, and putting their heads in the sand would be the absolute worst thing they could do right now.

Lots of work to be done if they want to make any noise in the postseason

And all that will lead to early exit in the playoffs, But at least we can revel in the stats all off-season

It’s funny that we can totally murder our division and the Atlanta’s of the world, but have trouble with good teams. We see really good teams all year not being able to blow out these same teams etc. It’s very odd. Some days we look unbeatable and others can’t get out of our way

Is there a way to get these stats for the second half of the season only?

Defense 1st, Offense 32nd?

Yea. You definitely stuck something in your pipe and smoked it before starting this thread.
Not the first time one of you mindless posters posted that I was wrong only to find out that I was right...yet again.

My opinion. We’re just a different team with a lead.

Lose offensive balance and ask Dak to throw more and we are terrible.

Ive seen this trend for years.

I still think since that NE game something is wrong with his feet. He’s not the same QB.

The good Dallas Cowboys of 2021 never flew back home after that game.

Also, people forget, the offense was struggling in the first half to score points. If Mac Jones was a better player we could’ve got in one of these situations where our offense is stalling and the other team just builds the lead.

Having a rookie QB kept us in that game. Great game though.

What are those numbers worth when they can’t win when it matters most?

That was to be expected though. Bill is awesome
