They are paying him a ton of money because he is a very good player, yet our genius OC doesn’t get him the ball. There is no point in paying Amari this type of money if you are not going to feature him and get him involved every game. Just another wasted cap hit.

Dak was, and i have looked lately, one of the best tight window throwers in the nfl.

From what i see, that is still the case because our wrs don't seem to get any separation.

So with all of that said, "Your takeaway is Dak is "scared" to throw into coverage?

Given the choice, Dak will generally pick the safer throw. That isn't even slightly controversial. His biggest supporters frequently point that out and his low interception/turnover rate. His detractors will use phrases like "dink and dak" because of all of his check down throws.

Dak had a few games earlier this season where he hit some tight windows and it was pretty impressive. That said, no one would refer to Dak as "one of the best tight window throwers in the nfl" over the long term or more recently.

I get what Cooper is saying, and understand it to a certain extent, but he's also pulled himself out of the game for extended periods and held himself wholly out of games. He might have an argument, but he's completely undermining it with his actions this season. And that's not passing judgment on his vaccine decision at all. Just stating facts.

To be fair it's not like it was some random game, it was a Dallas icons Jersey retirment game which both where invited since November

That’s not a good look so close to the playoffs coop may get traded in the off season.

Arguably the most iconic Dallas sports star invited both of them to sit court side for his Jersey Retirement game.

I'm hardly shocked that they went (especially Cooper whose still well within that 90 day grace period of his last positive)

When Cooper is healthy, he is a top 3 WR in this league. He is our fastest wr. I don't know why Dak can't find him more often..........well, I do know, but there is nothing that can be done about it.

This is such nonsense. Typical over rating of our players to such wild extremes. Cooper is a fine player but he is no where close to a top 3 WR. The best case you could ever make is top 10. The reality is he is probably between top 10 and top 15. Without wasting much time in terms of yards for his career including this year he ranks 40, 14, 8, 21, 50, 8 and 20. He has cracked the top 10 twice in 7 years. He is a good player. He is no where close to a top 3 WR. Just cause Jerry panicked and traded away a first round pick for him and gave him that crazy contract does not make him a top tier WR. He is a good player who always has excuses for why he is not great.

That's strange to me. Everyone is trying to stop Aaron Rodgers and Devonte Adams, and yet he still gets targets and catches. Everyone is trying to stop Joe Burrow and Jamarr Chase, yet he gets targets and catches. I don't see why building a scheme around your best wide receiver and targeting him different ways is not possible. Get him in the slot, give him slants , hitches , digs , deep shots etc. Make them defend him several different ways and if the defense works so hard to take that away that means there should be EASY passes to the others. When it matters though, I'm looking to get the ball to the top receiver on the team. 2018 Dak did that.

He did that with Amari in MAN coverage after Amari yelled at him to throw him the ball in the Eagles game becayse CBs were sitting in the routes and Schwartz didn’t bother putting any safety over the top, that’s how much he respected Dak. He didn’t do that against zone. That’s why they got shut out by the Colts who put an extra safety over the top to shadow him.

Amari can beat anybody in man. It’s not the QB…

This is ‘peak’ Dak. I can bring the numbers in 2018 that show the same thing. Dak’s numbers are noght and day with zone versus man. He’s just been afforded a top of the line RG and OL for years to force teams to play heavy man.

Now they are pretty much remaining content rushing 4.

The last two games Moore had gone hurry up from the start to try and get the decision making process out of Dak’s hands quickly. this idea Moore hasn’t adjusted is a crock of garbage.

Moore already said during Dak’s slump he’s going through his reads too quickly, which is basically he’s defaulting to his check downs.

People act like the OC isn’t limited in his play calling by the QB making the plays.

If Moore had Herbert with these WRs and OL, it would be over.
