I do not want to hear anybody ever complain again about MM and clock management....don't care what Carr said the Raiders would be content to just let time run out. The fact that Staley called TO was enough for the Raiders to say, okay bro we're gonna one up ya! 2,3,1 second left you take the ball and run for a yard on a knee and do NOT risk kicking a FG knowing a tie you are in. Burrows or Mahomes? Who care, Staley is a dolt

Chargers coach has to be fired. That was inexcusable.

Like I said.....that guy played Madden as a kid growing up.....probably 12hrs a day.....and hit the reset button when he was getting beat in the 3rd quarter. He was that guy.

He would be the kid that took the ball home if he couldn't call plays.

Do people really think the Raiders would pass up the chance to win their division and pick their playoff opponent just to avoid the minuscule chance of a muffed fg?

Staley calling a timeout will be remembered as one of the biggest coaching blunders in NFL history.

I disagree. There were only 2 seconds on the play clock. Once the Raiders got 10 yards on third and 4 it made the FG routine if they get stuffed they aren't going to try a 55 yard FG.

If they were playing to score at the end, why not use your TOs and get closer for a FG? They had 2 and never used them.

I still don't understand why it was a blunder.

He called a timeout with 2 seconds left on the playclock and Oakland was lined up to run the ball to the left.

Timeout happens and Oakland lines up again and runs to the left and gets a first down. Why would a timeout of changed that ?

Oh Raiders play the Bungles...my bad. They've never won a playoff game in this century so I expect a Raider win.

:hammer:.......the timeout didn't change anything.

They didn’t win their division, but I agree there’s no reason they wouldn’t want to at last try the FG at the end.
