The offense under Garrett with the Giants was horrible....idk how it got worse after him but it got so bad i was shocked they didnt get shutout every game after Garrett was dismissed

I think the Cowboys are set up to win the division for the next 3 years hopefully that happens

But the Giants do OWN the draft this year if solid picks are made...which is always a crap shoot regardless of team drafting. So The Giants may be formidable in short order IF the house gets right.

I’d say the Eagles own the draft with 3 picks in round one. Could there be a worst year to have the #1 pick? This is like the year the Cowboys had the number 1 pick and settled for Russell Maryland.

Why would he be? He was not a good head coach as I stated in OP. I was talking about what he was getting out of the offense as coordinator compared to what they had after firing him.

Garrett was a worse OC than he was a HC.

Just another stupid post by a silly fan who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Try reading some history on NFL.com. He ran one of the best offenses in the NFL when he was the Cowboys OC. That’s a fact that you can read about unless you just want to say something stupid. The only reason he was given head coaching interviews (2) that are documented (not the Cowboys) is because of the offense.

Jerry made him the highest paid coordinator in the NFL to keep him in Dallas. As a head coach, he was a failure….absolutely true.

Garrett is 58th all time, in terms of winning percentage as a HC in the league, according to this list. Between Chuck Knox and Mike Ditka. Some pretty good coaches right above and right below him. 55th in terms of total wins. Out of 511 candidates.

Garrett was only a symptom of how bad that org is being run.

When you draft the wrong QB, that mistake tends to compound other mistakes. Everyone knew as soon as they took Jones where this would all end up.

Funny thing is, they made an even worse decision in Judge and refuse to rectify it. What an incredible amazing mess

I was trolling the Giants YT channels today on some of the live chats etc...Funny you mentioned Garrett. Apparently Mara still LOVES Garrett and has a meeting with him Friday. I kid u not. Its really funny how this guy gets all the love without being any good at his job., I think Judge gets fired before Friday. Garrett is the guy the Mara family wanted 2 retain all along, instead of Judge.This is great Theatre.

LMAO….I liked Garrett as a Cowboy player and man, but he was not a good head coach. While he would bring more stability than Judge does and maybe get them to .500 and being more competitive, I would love to see him in NY. We could relax for several more years…..lol.

I know the Maras love him, but can this possibly be true? Their fans would revolt to keep Judge but fire Gettleman, then fire Judge only to bring in Garrett. It would be amazing.

Is he maybe a dark horse GM candidate? That would be interesting and would make more sense.
