I am already over the loss.
That's what years of spectating the clowning around in Jerrys Big Top does for you.
The end act was priceless.
Onto the draft then and roll on Sept '22 when we start all over again.
Our schedule is not that bad so we are more than likely going to be in the play offs again ... great maybe we can go 2 and done or even win it all ......... :flagwave:

Defense played fine other than the first drive. They gave up a TD on a short field but also set up a Dallas TD with the same short field.

Beyond that, the defense was on the field practically the entire first quarter because of the offensive ineptitude.

This is on Dak, Zeke and the O-Line.

You left out the major culprit: km

What really deserves mention is why didn't we just punt and pin them deep there instead of going on fourth and 11 after Moore ****ed up first down by not running with 2 plus minutes and three timeouts at midfiield?

OMFG you can not make this up. I am soooooooooooooo angry right now I can't even begin to process what just happened.

So first off.. anyone blaming this on the defence is just wrong. Yes Quinn and the D got jumped on that first drive.. no doubt.. but they then got better and better and ended the game on top. They kept this team in it without a doubt. They didn't give up a point in the 4th quarter, only 7 in the 2nd half and they gave our offence 3 GOLDEN opportunities to win the game.

On the offence.. Pollard did NOTHING wrong except not getting called!! Needed to be featured 10x more than he was. It is NOT Zekes fault that Moore won't play a 2 back scheme and won't put him in the game. I thought Cooper was ok from his limited touches. I thought Shultz was ok but his lack of run blocking hurts.

Zeke was 50/50.. I know a lot on here get so down on him.. but he is banged up. I thought he did everything he could to try to help the team. He kick started our first TD drive, got 3 important first downs and a huge block that gave another. It was a serviceable game and anyone blaming Zeke for the loss is just biased.

Lamb and Wilson.. didn't do enough but didn't get targetted a lot and when they did.. Dak was airmailing it. Costly drops will kill Lamb as a genuine WR1 option. Needed to do better.

OLine was average. I know a lot will rage at that.. because Dak got sacked 5 times and they didn't bust open running lanes and the penalties. Newsflash.. it is hard for an Oline to keep up protection if your QB takes all day in the pocket. Will get to Dak in a minute but far out we expect our Oline to be perfect and they aren't. The penalties on this unit HURT big time and we need to refresh our stocks if we want to go anywhere important.

MM was poor. He is a poor game day coach. I don't know where the lines are drawn in terms of who calls what and when.. but we were not prepared to play in the first quarter. We waste time outs, we make stupid calls at stupid decisions. We are, as a whole, an undisciplined team and it has killed us all year. Personally I'd give him another year but he either takes back the play calling or he has more control.. he needs to do more.

Penalties.. they killed us all year and it wasn't surprising that they killed us in the playoffs. Stupid penalties too.. pre-snap penalties are beyond dumb. The first two defence ones were incorrect (SF guy def moved) but the rest were pretty fair. No PI which was good, but again Jimmy G wasn't throwing deep so less chance of getting the flags. 3 holds on the D Line hurts.. but the really big ones are the offence.. because we have an incompetent bus driving hack as a QB.. any penalty called against the O is an instant drive killer. We had too many. Whole team needs to focus on it.. just like we focussed on D takeaways this year.. I want to see a huge turnaround next season.

Now for the real problems.. Moore and Dak. Personally I'd fire both of them into the sun and never look back. Moore is PATHETIC as a play caller.. he got worked out by Denver and hasn't called a good game against anything that resembles an NFL team since. He has no scheme for the run game, his sequences are predictable.. he is too aggressive if we get down even by one score.. we send the wrong calls at the wrong time. The last play of the game sums up our OC.. what a botched call. 14 seconds.. a chance for another quick out route and then 2 hail marys from 35 yards and he runs dak?! Fark me if that is not the last play he ever sends in there is something seriously wrong with the organisation.

I've saved the best for last.. Dak. Never liked him and hopefully today any remaining fans he had will be awake to the fact he is pure garbage. Utter trash. Overpaid 4th rounder that got lucky in his rookie year. Dude is legit a liability to this team and we will NEVER EVER win anything with him at QB. NEVER. He is inaccurate, he can't see wide open receivers, has awful pocket awareness.. has NO game management, doesn't complement the run game.. has a lack of chemistry with every single guy we rotate through WR, takes too many sacks, misses wide open guys, gives up costly turnovers with dumb decision making, is just a trash QB. Can NOT perform against good teams. Just can't. He is an imposter. It pains me that he holds records for this organisation.. records built on bullying the hapless NFC East and scoring TDs against a 3rd string Eagles outfit (and their first string just got demolished by TB)..

This game will go down as one of the worst all time playoff appearances.

well mm said it would be beautiful !
that last play is on both dak and MM, and KM , those 3 have to know the rules if they are going to try that play.
Romo said not bad idea, but dak ran too far, run 10 yds go down hand the ball to the right ref and linemen get out of his way so he can set the ball.

I doubt they could throw a td though with only 1 play if they had got it snapped and clocked in time.

the game was lost in 1st half.

Our defense played good, but SF defense played even better
Dallas was # 1 scoring offense and they were held to 17 points !.....at home in a dome lol.''

dallas did not run pollard at all, they went all in with nose ring boy lol that was a mistake.
They should have had a run heavy game plan mostly with pollard. but they chose to mainly pass.

So are we still worried about the prospect of losing our coordinators or nah?
K MORON will be a plus leaving; DQ has done a good job with this D. I would like to see what he can do with another year or so. But the expectation is MM will be fired and DQ becomes HC with M Zimmer coming back as DC. So say the reports on the net

Stafford led the league in INTs and is 0-3 in tbe playoffs. The Cardinals beat them in LA earlier in the season.
Rams will roll AZ and y'all will call me a genius for praying to be the 4 seed!!!

No RUN GAME AT ALL.

Should've started Pollard. Zeke is only a grinder.
Why do people keep blaming zeke? So STUPID.

Zeke had what? 12 carries? That's backup work. Like you want.

Tell Moore to run more running plays and give them to Pollard like a REAL team runs.

Dak’s blocking was more than adequate too. His pocket presence is garbage. The pressure he faced is standard pressure for guys like JG or any QB in the playoffs.

No he isn't. He has to set the ball. It's common knowledge. Only person that didn't seem to know it was our 40 million dollar qb
He also blew a drive for false start by taking 10 minutes to get out of the way. Then he stopped the play during the kick to move the ball farther over to the left. Guy just didn't sit right with me. Certainly not why we lost, but it was frustrating.

I want to hear an apology from Magic Mike! I want to hear "I apologize to all Cowboys fans for not having my team ready to play from the start and for all the foul-infested error-prone football they saw today!".

And this highlights why certain quarterbacks (and coaches) are heads and shoulders above the competition. Guarantee you Brady, Rodgers and Mahomes know all the subtle and "insignificant" rules like handing it to the ball instead of the center.
This knowledge makes a difference in the playoffs, as we just saw.
