And no one else produces either. But yes, we expected a LOT more from all of these players. Add in Tyron missing some blocks and getting penalties, and even Zach missed a stunt to allow a sack. It was a **** show from start to finish by the entire team.
Well, when you are teamed up with a bunch of mediocre millionaires you tend to play down to their level. Dak is too dumb and way too slow to be an elite QB in this league. Romo pointed out all day long how people were open and Dak couldn't pull the trigger, he would hold the dam an extra couple of seconds which affected both the O-Line and the passing game in a very bad way.

You can see him look and see the play, but he won't let it go. I want someone to give us the all-22 and confirm how many of those double clutches should have been thrown.

thats a coaching problem

The defense certainly played well enough to win. Special teams more than did their part. The offense lost the game plan and simple. Cooper and Shultz played well considering. The usual suspect on the OL were bad as usual. The RBs did nothing, Pollard didn't get much of opportunity. CeeDee was useless and everyone was limited by the QB.

Funny how Romo can see receivers open now that he didn't see when he was playing:facepalm:

Actually, for not winning the SB, Romo had some huge games beating teams in the EAST when the East was a powerhouse division. Prescot on the other hand is surrounded by talent and hasn't come close to getting to the next level. Romo was a football dude who understood the game and would have NEVER run a QB boot leg with NO TIME OUTS and SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME. Prescot is so afraid to throw the ball he was probably tickled pink when Moore called his number.

Amazingly as poorly as they played we still had a shot in the end. 49ers should have blown us out.
I guess you can sleep better at night knowing you didn't get blown out...................Ha-haaaaa!

Dak did everything you said Romo did. So what's the point? In the end the results were the same....

Throw Jerry in that pile of stars too that didn't have enough star power to have the roof on the stadium squared away so the sun wasn't in our players eyes and costing us points
I read they have curtains, but jerry refuses to use them! thats all that is needed.
and it did cost them one big play where cedrik could not see the ball.

It all falls in line. I think Parsons got hurt. But was once again not used to rush the qb. Quinn has blame. Our D-Line worried about the run and they were going to get yards there anyways but we let there qb come out throwing the ball with no pressure and no coverage in the middle.. We get pressure and man coverage and he throws a bad or rushed pass and we jump it. No turn overs because the DC played basically prevent. Play them like we played the wft..
if you watch that interview with him where irvin shows up, parsons says for SF he thinks he will be playing more backer, and not very much pass rush.
So that was part of the game plan lol

Just looking at the score and numbers but that doesn’t tell the whole story.

Defense didn’t force a punt until 3rd qtr. SF scores on ever possession in 1st half except last running out the clock.

And when we needed a stop the most with over 7 minutes only a penalty by 49ers provided us a last gasp desperation .

So no, as usual when when we needed the defense to make a stop , they didn’t .

160 million dollar QB didn’t have his best game.
90 million dollar RB 31 yards
Star WR has only 1 catch
Star DE no sacks
Rookie Star LB no sacks
All Pro CB no big plays

Can’t win when your big stars don’t produce.

Understatement of the year but yeah, I'm with you.

We came out looking flat. The Cowboys were the only home team to lose in the first round of the playoffs. The team looked so uninspired you couldn’t even tell it was a playoff game.

They’re all paid and their contracts are all highly restructured other than Parsons and Diggs.

You expect them to bang their heads in to win a playoff game?

They got paid not winning.

I think we can all agree that Zeke never ran the ball good the entire season... so nothing new there.

But. Have you ever seen a WR show up and have big games when the QB didnt?
Antonio Brown a few years back was in the PRIME of his career and killing it each week. Ben went down and AB immediately went from 12-15 catches a game to 2-3 catches a game. Was it because he forgot how to play? Nah, the QB sucks and it killed a stud WR.

the 2 coaches I blame are kellen and MM, they were awful.
Bad game plan , and bad play calling, esp that last play
They both need to go for the team to improve. I would rather dan Q be HC, he is already here and if jerry let him do what he wants, maybe
he could improve the team.

Aside from the coaching, the cowboys players after doing a # on phil , that seemed to make them think they were great and just neeeded to show up
and play and they beat SF. Overconfident and think too highly of themselves, and kinda spoiled lol.
Thats all on mike and jerry.
Kellen might be a ok OC IF the HC could tell him what to do and not do, be his boss. As it is mike has no control over kellen.
Although mike did say he thought that last play was the right call  so to me he should be let go just for thinking that is was a good call.
