Exactly. We didn’t commit to the run, nor were we particularly good at it either.

8 of Zeke's 12 rushes were right up the middle.. He averaged > 5 ypc on his outside runs.. as did Pollard.. but Moore doesn't WANT to run the ball so he runs it inside where there is no blocking and then uses that abject failure to justify not going to the run more. The first run play up the middle where not one but TWO defenders are in the backfield before Zeke gets the ball is all we need to know about what's going on with the line play.. Whether it be coaching or personnel.. whatever it is, if it doesn't get fixed this team will not be consistent on offense.. Period.

Every game except the bucs game that we lost we abandon the run.. JG did this. Linehan did this. Moore came up under JG and Linehan said he was the genius.. You have to run a minimum of 25 times. Even if you can throw at will.. Even if your getting 1 yard a gain. It keeps defenses guessing. Even if your not getting any yards from it you can play action from it. We killed teams with play action.. Get your O-Line sorted and tell Moore if he abandons it again MM takes over the playcalling..

Exactly right and he brought Dak and the team down going against good teams. Run assorted plays keep them guessing and play action. Not hard to do.

I mean how do they sit in the film room and watch all these unblocked defenders knifing into our backfield and keep calling those plays? WANTING it to fail is the only explanation that makes sense.. and of course it makes NO sense.. The inability of Moore, Philbin, McCarthy, whoever to recognize this all season has to be the biggest epic fail of the decade. "Hey guys just do better" seems like all we got from our coaches.. We ran the same doomed plays over and over .. well not really over and over.. more like a few times and then after they failed the first few times went straight it to all pass mode.. I honestly don't know if I can watch another season of this, man. Please somebody hire Kellen Moore away and put us out of this misery.. Please Dear Lord I do not ask for much..

I still for the life of me don’t know why you can’t do some of the motion stuff the rams… cards and 49ers do. With pollard and Ceedee in the backfield.

You can do all that…. Have dak keep the ball. So some RPO read option stuff. I get not using it in the season to not hurt dak. But to not in the playoff game is ridiculous.

It’s difficult for a defense to defend. Makes them think an extra Half second. Especially with bosa out.

Thats not KM's offense and he will not change...he learned from the best, JG

I watched an analysis that showed how successful we were using a power formation that was featured on ONE drive the whole game versus SF. We scored on it too.

The rest of the game was mostly garbage shotgun plays.

Do you believe that Moore is really that methodical?

And what’s worse is these are pro athletes and are in the film room. I would have thought Elliot would have said. Hey why quitting running outside or off tackle. Your getting me crushed and ruining my stats. Come to think of it one of the last outside runs was the Pollard TD when he tore his foot. Maybe Moore was worried about injuries. Lol. Nope he wanted to get to his passing game that somehow made us the #1 Offense. Look at the record when I was OC. Look at the yards and points my plays got..

No I do not.. I just simply believe that he gets so caught up trying to come up with a brilliant passing play call and remembers at the last minute with the clock winding down that "hey I have not called a run in over an hour" and sends in the delay handoff up the middle.. I think that's his fallback run play call. It happens.. when I was the OC for my high school team it happened to me all the time.. So much crap would be flying around.. I'd be running down the sidelines trying to see what the down and distance was (you know no 70 foot screen in a high school stadium) and trying to get my QB's attention (no radios in the helmets either) and even though there was no play clock I knew time was moving so I'd just send in my favorite good safe play.. Now I am in no way comparing calling plays for some high school in California to the NFL.. those guys are a lot better at it and do it far more quickly than I ever could.. but the principles remain the same.. and they have more going on around them than I ever did..

No it wasn't. Zeke was running with a partially torn PCL for the last 2 months. Hows that the OL fault? Put Dak behind the OL in NY and see how many TDs he throws.
I’m not making any excuses for Zeke, at all whatsoever and they need to look at his contact ASAP.

But let’s get real about the Oline, Tyron is only good for about 8 games and a shell of his former self, and getting older every year; LG and C are terribly inconsistent, Zack is good, and La el was seemingly replaced by Steele with virtually no drop off and he’s significantly cheaper.

The unit as a whole were a let down, blame them, the OC, OL staff, and HC

Bottom line is all available resources must go into building the greatest O line in history so the highest paid QB, RB and WR in football won't stink as much.

I had said the QB draw was not a bad play just the timing was wrong. Should have been first or second play of the drive. Then roll him out use the middle of the field.. could have ran a sweep or toss play with the time left. Get to the sidelines. Was hoping Dak could pull that off..

IMHO these things do not get overlooked by the players in the locker room. Fat Collins comes in out of shape and "injured" and fails drug tests and bribes people but at the first possible moment he gets his job back. Zeke is a blob and can hardly roll out of bed but he gets to be the "lead dog". Gregory is a tool for 5 years then overnight he is a pass rushing monster. It's good to be one of Jerrys special little baby boys.

This year, Tyron's contract is very cheap and most OL get injured at some point during the season. He played in 12 games this year and was held out of the philly finale as a precaution. In those 12 games, only 1 OT in the entire league graded out better. So, he's still got it. An ankle injury is a fluke thing not a chronic knee problem. Trent Williams makes more than double what tyron makes and he's the only left tackle in the league that was consistently better than Tyron this year. Steele graded out poorly. He was the lowest graded of our OL.

LG and C are the areas to improve. I'm pulling for a Tyler Linderbaum first round pick.

Zeke's worst enemy is Kellen Moore. It's hard to get going as an RB when the OC pulls the rug out from under you so easily.
