Dude you can’t just take out games to prove your arguments. Let’s take out 49ers game that Dalton won because they were missing key defensive linemen and had a third string quarterback for a starter. Dalton was laughably bad. His play was the reason we did not make playoffs last season.

I took it out and I'll continue to not count it. That game was a joke. Passing the ball at the 2 yard line on 1st and 2nd down trying to get Dak a record. Joke.

The Eagles sat like 18 starters that game and the ones they did play only played for a series.

If Dalton was bad then you must admit Dak was just as bad after that Pats game. The numbers do not lie.

It took you 4 days to pick up your instrument, get back together with the band, and play while the Dak ship sinks. I'm disappointed. I thought you finally saw the light on this bum.

The throw he made to CD with Fred Warner basically in position to break it up/pick it is the type of play that INFURIATES ME TO NO END with Dak...makes a dangerous, yet accurate LASER of a throw and it works. Then, he reverts back to playing conservative, waiting for the perfect play to open up, and that does nothing but bog the offense down. Yes, I've come over to the "Dark Side"....somewhat. I think Dallas can still win with him - Shanahan showed the world he could take a good but flawed QB in Garrapolo to the SB. But, OBVIOUSLY they need to get a really good QB Coach in here to get into Dak's head and try to readjust some things. Because, right now he plays like the classic Bully - he DESTROYS lesser D's with ease, but when somebody punches the bully in the mouth, he coils in fear. Just my $.02.

Wins and losses aren't attributed to a single player unless you have a ridiculous agenda. And, it would be a genuine concern when you compare this cherry picked statistic with all other teams. Just singling out one QB in the NFL and throwing up over and over doesn't mean anything. Be honest and to a fair comparison. I bet you'll find it's pretty much the same thing across the NFL, minus the real elite teams/QBs like Brady, Rodgers etc..

I am not defending the stat padder. Dak did the same thing in 2019. Our quarterback had one good season and that was 2016. He has been average ever since. Dalton though was bad and his play was big reason Dak got that big contract.

I get QBs have off days, but Dak seems to disappear or not show up for long stretches a lot the last few years...especially against better teams or in big games. It was nearly half the games in 2019 when the offense no showed for big portions of the game then the start of 2020 wasn't much better. I didn't think Dak did anything in 2019 or the few games in 2020 to warrant a huge contract.

vs. 13-3 Saints: offense only scores 10 points (on a day the defense held the Saints to 12 points)
vs. 13-3 Packers: down 24-0 in the 3rd quarter before offense puts up garbage time points
vs. 7-9 Jets: not even a good team, but still managed to get down 21-3 right before half before the comeback falls short
vs. 12-4 Patriots: failed to score a touchdown the entire game (again on a day the defense held NE to 13 points)
vs. 10-6 Bills: score on opening drive then disappear until late in the 4th quarter when they're down 26-7

But he's going to be around at least 3 more years, so I'm not sure there's much point in making 28 threads a day about him.

He is such a flip flopper. He was down on Dak a few years ago. He goes on a winning streak and say he was wrong and that Dak is for real. Yes Dak played poorly but for sure was not helped by good O-Line and good playcalling. Moore and O-Line was as bad. When a team can simply rush 4 and have a QB bailing from the pocket on every pass play and never trailing by that much you have a OC calling long developing plays. If he threw dump offs and slants we had a chance to get going. Off tackle runs or toss plays. Someone said which curls were open all day. Never used the power formation we used during the winning streak. 12 personel.

He is good at telling people what they want to hear.

I don't know if people realize just how little time these people like Cowerd, Smith, Bayless and Sharpe spend really watching these sports. They do not have the time as those shows take a lot of planning and prep to make them come off as spontaneous as they want them to be. Their game is to keep the viewers coming back and from what I see on this forum, they are very successful at that. How many times do you see a poster put up a video with a condemnation of the contents and the host of the show?

Ain't nothing as popular as watching people we don't like.

Factor in other QBs in what way?

Other QBs are why I said not to pay Dak. I see teams with truly elite QBs struggling to win championships because of the hit their QBs salary does to their team.

I took everything into account. That’s why I had this opinion years before the idiotic deal was made.
