I’m not arguing the blocking wasn’t an issue. It certainly was. We need to improve the interior OL.

But just look at Zeke. Everybody knew he was hurt and wasn’t the same. Everybody. Everybody.

Every cowboys podcast talked about it.

the radio stations all talked about it.

there were articles written about it.

every single person who watches the cowboys knew Zeke wasn’t healthy and wasn’t as effective because of it.

Yet they didn’t even give him a single damn game off to rest all season long.

It was malpractice.
I was calling for him to be rested around Thanksgiving.

All I did was post the Beasley quote reference what most of us knowledgeable people are able to see.

You say things like "Micah Parson is a bad draft pick and will be a bust".

I have a hard time talking to people that don't know football.
The difference between you and me is I see the error of my ways. I've eaten much crow over my comments about Parsons and now admit I was wrong. You however are now tripling down on your own ignorance. You never learn.

Tell me where I was wrong, and if you can prove I was wrong the way Parsons proved you wrong, then I will gladly admit it.

Are you going to say Beasley didn't say that or something?

Beasley is a hot head and even quit the Cowboys once. When he realized how wrong he was he begged to be allowed back. Garrett didn't have to let Beasley come back but he did because he is a nice guy. The bottom line is Beasley is a bomb-thrower with no integrity whatsoever. When you use him in your argument you ruin it.

Again,

Just because you don't like him or what he says does not make it false.

Zeke playing so much this year when Pollard was clearly better proved it. Witten taking a year off and coming back and playing 99% of the snaps proved it.

I don't like that it's true either, but it sure appears to be.

Unbelievable, some of this is just too funny. Guess McCafferty, who many have clamored for, been stealing money too.

Pollard was injured too. So when both are injured you play RB1 if he can go. Witten is a future first ballet HoF'er. Your objection to him playing "99% of the snaps" just reveals your own ignorance. These are basic concepts that you seem to be struggling to understand.

I don't care what Witten is.

He should never have been able to come out of retirement and instantly hold the position hostage based of his past accomplishments.

That's the problem with the organization. So, with that said, I agree with Beasley 100%. You can be mad all you want, but you'll continue to be shocked when your dreams of gander for these players don't come to fruition and you're confused as to why.

Pay attention and some of us will be honest with you about things. Some of us won't sugar coat it and enable delusional thinking.

Those are your opinions not factual at all. Revealing yourself as a bomb-thrower also doesn't help your case whatsoever.

McCarthy knows more about football than probably 99% of the posters on this forum, but because they lost, he’s a boob. Of course, he’s overweight too, which certifies his incompetency.

People want/need one or two people to blame for the team’s lack of success, but I always like to think it’s a collection of variable—a literal “death by a thousand cuts”.
Rodgers said MM had the lowest football IQ out of all of the football people in the league. His size has nothing to do with his incompetency IMO. His horrible in-game decisions plays a big part in the way he is viewed by the fanbase. One of his recent screwups was stating that they need to fix the penalties. He said this only hours after losing to the 49ers. Penalties have been a big problem throughout the season, but he is waiting until the season is over before addressing the problems. That is a joke. The penalty problems should have been fixed before the half way point of the season. MM was stupid enough to imply that nothing had been done during the season to stop the penalties . He should have been fired on the spot.

I'm sure most of you don't either but some of you might.

Consider this. He apparently injured the knee week 4 against the Panthers.

Now if Zeke's knee injury was so limiting why would he rush for 110 yards and 5.2 yards per carry the very next week? How is that possible 7 days after a ligament tear yet it's so debilitating the rest of the season?

I'm sure he had a knee issue but I think it's been used to cover for a rapidly declining once superstar. A player the Cowboys are not only heavily invested in and loyal to because of the contract but the fact that he's the QB's best friend.

This is a real problem and it's not going away in 2022. No matter how many awesome offseason workout videos he posts.

Another embarrassing fact about this organization.

He didn't just wait until the season was over to address the issue with penalties, he was asked a question by the press about the penalties. Are you suggesting he ignore the question? He has been asked the same question at other postgame press conferences and answered them in much the same way. So let's not pretend he hasn't been pressed about that topic until the season was over for the Cowboys.

There’s some substance to what you aside from the usual “Fat Mike” crap. Personally, I’d welcome some changes. My dream scenario would be Sean Payton as HC, with Fangio or Zimmer as DC, and Columbo as OL Coach. What we’ll end up with? Probably McCarthy at HC/OC, Whitt or Edwards at DC, and someone unknown as OL Coach. But who knows?

I also think Jerry’s at the end of his rope.

One, comparing Elliott now to what he was in college is just foolish. He was younger, fresher, more explosive as a college player than he is now. Two, Elliott is the highest paid TB (by total contract size). Given the cap hits he's going to eat up, he has to be more than a bruiser TB that wears down defenses and then is effective after that 14th touch in a game.

Three, the Murray angle doesn't help your case here. In fact, it kind of hurts it. For one, the Cowboys came out and said after 2014 that they couldn't commit to the years and money Murray wanted because their data showed TBs drop off after so many carries and the kind of usage Murray had. And guess what? They were right. Murray was never the same after that 2014 season. He struggled in Philly, came back with a 1,200 yard season in Tennessee, but then fell back and was out of the league by 2017. You also conveniently left out to big storylines in 2015 - one, it wasnt just Randle they wanted to run the ball, they also signed Darren McFadden, who actually ran for 1,000 yards that year. The other issue was that it wasn't not having Murray that killed the 2015 season, it was that Romo got hurt and we had to play a majority of the season with guys like Brandon Weeden at QB. And think about that, McFadden ran for 1,000 yards (starting only 10 games too that year) and did so with crappy QB play.

If anything, the Murray thing shows it's more wise to invest in the OL than eat up oodles of cap space on a TB.

Good post. I just didn't want to get into all that you mentioned, there is a systemic problem keeping the Cowboys from a SB win/appearance/Conference championship, those concentrating on Zeke or Dak are ignoring many other factors.

That makes no sense to me either. You would think the team would order an MRI right way just to make sure it wasn't something that could be injure worse by playing. I believe that a torn pcl would miss a few weeks also. Heck Amari limps off the field and he's getting an MRI on his foot the next day. This is a smoke screen.
