I looked afterwards and they actually had most of their starting secondary so my bad. Sounded funny though. Either way, their secondary was the weakest link and we couldn't do anything against it.

Exactly what we should have done to there QB! Because you make him throw 35 to 40 passes, he will make all kinds of mistakes. Instead they rush for 169 yards. Like the Colts game Andrew Luck last year where he throws for under 200 yards and will still lose because can’t stop the run.

Our strategy should’ve been trying to make the guy the 49ers are trying to move on from beat us. We just made it tougher for them to move on from Jimmy G.

From what I recall seeing all 3 linebackers played back and ran up to fill gaps vs run plays and stayed back vs pass. That was kinda their base then they'd also crowd the line and have guys drop back at the snap. Basically they were better at showing a run or pass favored look and then attacking what we did kinda goading us into doing it.

Playing against a banged up secondary and not being able to take advantage. We have seen this same story in 2007, 2016, and 2021. Seems like a pattern at this point.
