Wow, Bengals get to a conference title game before the Cowboy do.
Jerry is going to get drunk as ***** tonight:laugh:

Winning hasn't been a priority to Jerry since the mid 90's. Otherwise he would've hire a real GM sometime during the last 25 years and never would've hired Gailey, Campo Wade, Garrett or even McCarthy.

Only teams who haven't reached a conference championship game since Dallas is now Washington, Miami, Cleveland, Detroit and Houston. But Dallas' streak is 26 and the Texans and Browns are both expansion teams.

I just wonder if ...
  • Dak
    • Threw it for a bunch of yards
    • 0 TDs
    • 1 Int
    • Was sacked 9 times
  • But the defense
    • produced 3 turnovers
    • stopped one of the best RBs in the NFL to just 3.1 ypc
    • allowed only 2/9 in 3rd down conversions
  • And the Cowboys win ...
How many here would be praising Dak for "leading" the Cowboys to a win?

Just asking for a friend.
:muttley:
never happened, so we will never know. For me, he never gets credit for anything but sucking.

I really hope the Bungles doing what we haven't in 26 years is the big topic come Monday....maybe it will shame Booger into doing the right thing.

The worst part is the Bungles owner does nothing but try and grub money from the other owners. Their practice facility is the worst in the league and the owner is an abscentee GM. yet here they are in the conference championship. You would think that this would have happened to the Cowboys by accident but nooooooo.

Lol sacked 9 times and balled out for the win. I was told that it's impossible to be a great qb when constantly under pressure.

IT ABSOLUTELY is!

The thoughts going through Jerry's mind when comparing his team to the Bengals oline, quarterbacking and coaching. I'd give good money to hear Jerry discussing these issues with Stephen.

Priceless...

I mean stat wise, Tannehills best season passing is better than Jimmy G best passing season
I'm sure it is. I'm sure there are a lot of guys with better stats than Jimmy G. Tannenhill still sucks though lol. And Jimmy has been in a Super Bowl....Tannenhill won't see a SB even if he was Tom Brady's backup I'm sure he'd screw it up somehow.

And got sacked 9 times but in the face of adversity he led his team to the AFC Championship game.
I think there needs to be a measurable for "drives." Tom Brady, in his earlier days, didn't throw many touchdowns. But he was able to lead his team on game-winning drives by converting critical throws to get his team in field goal range.

That needs to be given equal consideration.

Look at that: Weak offensive line, playing a team better at the run than with the pass. Nine sacks. Turnovers. With a second year quarterback. And STILL reach the AFC Championship Game.

Great post.

And for those few here that need a person sitting next to them on Sundays to explain what they're watching, this pretty much explains it for them. The clueless stat trackers included.

I bet there might be some reports they're having group brain locks and unable to comprehend this outcome, lol
