Just heard on the Fan that a person DM’d the host that said he knows Sean from the movie coming out with Kevin James acting as Payton. Said that Sean was going to talk Benson and say he wants to go to the Cowboys with limited compensation, meaning like a 3rd round pick, or he’s going to TNF and you won’t get anything in return.

Take it for what it’s worth but it was interesting. The guy seemed to know a lot about the situation. I think it’s his future son in law or something to that matter.
does the guy work at the liquor store?

It's so pathetic reading our fan base every offseason.

It's always the coaches.

They have no idea what they're talking about and now they're pining for a guy they gleefully waved goodbye to years ago.

To be fair that was 16 years ago. He was also under Bills control which was a short leash. He’s grown so much as a play caller since than.

The new liquor store clerk. Guy who called into the radio from that Netflix film about Sean.

Not shooting the messenger, thanks for that. Just think its funny

Apparently you missed getting robbed from a super bowl with one of the worst calls in nfl history, you also missed the idea that he had the Saints this season with a winning record and Jameis Winston with 12 tds to only 3 int's. Payton is one of two current coaches with 150 or more wins, he's a top 3-5 coach in the league, says everyone. Comparing Fat Mike to him is like saying Dak is as good as Brady they both threw for over 4,000 yards..

Boom, well said.

Yeah. LOL. He wasn't much of a success early on in New Orleans.

Try again. This same guy you covet now you'll hate two years after his return.

Round and round you go. Like a dog chasing it's tail.

I think another reason people like Payton for the Cowboys is that he's likable. Parcells was burned out here but made it fun being a fan.

We've gone from iGarrett to Mike from Wisconsin. Sometimes it's about more than performance. Right or wrong.

LOL this place

Sean Payton has the same criticisms as McCarthy. Coaches that had legendary QBs and not many trophies to show for it. In a couple years it will be this place screaming for Mike Tomlin.

Drew Brees wasn't legendary on the Chargers. He was basically Jared Goff level. Payton made him legendary.

Well it’s he or boy wonder since Mike’s never going to call plays……

It was funny and would be silly to tell a radio host in Dallas. But it would be sweet

Everybody knows the rot is at the top. But the top isn't going anywhere.

So your options are:
1. make changes at the HC and hope against hope that is makes a difference or
2. Just accept nothing can change and have no hope for the future.

Some just choose option 1.

Is there a press conference scheduled for 3? I’d imagine Payton will kill any coaching rumors about coaching somewhere this year. I saw on tiger droppings- an LSU Nola board that there’s a presser for this afternoon wasn’t able to confirm it
