I don’t like it. Will be over his head next season now he knows he’s a pro bowler and a star. Give these guys the spotlight, they get overconfident and think they’re better than they are.
He was a star the day he was drafted. This is Dallas, you don’t need a pro-bowl to feel like a superstar.

Question because I do not know the answer: I know that making the Pro Bowl in your first 3 years affects the value of the 5th year option (up to your 2nd pro Bowl) if you are first round pick, but does that only apply if you are an initial vote or does it apply if you are an alternate?

That’s great for CeeDee but he probably underperformed more than anyone

but how can they drop outta it ?

All major sports has all star games - and NFL is arguably the most popular sports in the world
but no other major sports game requires that requires the level of " physicality' as the NFL does.
But it'd be considered a black eye embarrassment to exclude NFL's version of an All Star, while those other major sports persist as usual.

And to add more challenges- NFL is having a difficult time getting TV ratings for that all star game. Thus the reason for placing it before the Super Bowl game.

Players use an injury as an excuse not to play in the pro bowl. They still get credit for making the pro bowl even if they don’t play in the game. However an alternate has to play in the game to get a pro bowl credit. It’s very important to a player to have a pro bowl added to their résumé. With a 17 game schedule more players are going to drop out of the pro bowl. They like the honor but many don’t like playing in the game.

A lot of the guys have incentives such as pro bowl nominations/appearances worked into their contracts.

That's awesome. Happy for him.

I am hoping Sean Payton coaches him next year. I can see him scheming him open for a lot of YAC yards and TDs.

Special special talent IMO
It would be nice if he had a better QB & OC.

I don't know how to feel about CeeDee because I personally expected him to be better than this but I have to keep in mind he's got a QB that limits him.

I like CeeDee, but I didn't see him doing anything worthy this season. A lot of drops, and not targeted much for whatever reason... possibly because of the drops, but also possibly because of Dak's reads.

good points. Do we all still believe he was worthy of a first round draft pick. I know he was immediately considered a steal at 17th pick at the time. I’m really not sure at this point
