Hopefully Jethro will pay attention to how they turned this around by making bold moves in FA and blockbuster trades not satisfied with just a playoff team.

They took a chance mortgaging the future to win now. This is definitely a model our owner could follow . And could be the best path to bringing in more talent to get over the hump, now.

The Rams went all in this year and so far it’s paid off we’ll see where they end up after this season. Jerry isn’t about to give up all his first round picks in the next few years.

he won't do any of that and we all know it. we'll pick up some unheard of free agents, sign coveted undrafted players, and keep the higher paid semi-productive players. This is how it'll be until Jerry (and maybe Stephen) kick the bucket....*sigh* why can't i quit this team lol

Would he do it for a Super Bowl?

Without Leadership on the team, how is this going to get us over the hump?

The start of the rams model is the owner hired a GM who hired Sean McVey. The owner hoisting the NFC championship trophy tonight is basking in glory because he realizes he is not best suited to run football operations.

What's impressive about that is its Jeff Fisher's GM. Who was really the problem there

This usually does not work out.

It worked out for them though

Matt Stafford level QBs very rarely are available.
The Lions just gave him his wish (and cashed in well themselves) because they had no hope of going anywhere in the short term, and he had given then his soul for 12 years.

QBs may start wanting to move though after seeing Brady last year and Stafford this year.
SF would be crazy good if they had Rodgers, for instance.
