Youre better than this

Goff beat the bad QB we have here and the only reason they defeated the Saints was due to a horrific non-call in the Championship game. They scored only 3 points in the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Stafford beat Kyler Murray, outplayed Tom Brady on his field, and beat the team* Dak couldnt.

So yea, try again
*After bouncing the ball off the chest of the defender on "game winning drive"

Yeah, but you're going back a decade to make a point. Flacco 2012 was prime Flacco. Since that super bowl he was pretty hot and cold then eventually became a game manager and now a backup. Brady, Rogers, etc have changed the narrative a bit, but you can count on every QB to play at a high level into their mid 30s. Lamar hasnt done much since taking over, but that last year of Flacco its clear Jackson was a bit of a shot in the arm to that team.
It doesn't matter. In 2012, Flacco was in his 4th year as an NFL player since he was drafted in 2008, yet he led the Ravens to a SB victory and was named SB MVP.

Lamar was drafted in 2018. This was his 4th season, yet he has not been able to lead his talented team to a Super Bowl. The comparison is actually fair and legit.

With the way you are phrasing the question yes I agree with you. Comparing Flaccos year 4 with Jacksons year 4 I think is missing the point of the poster though. I think it has much less to do with comparing year 4 of Flacco to year 4 of Jackson and much more to do with that same time period when they made the switch.

Understood. Not fair because of age differences, but I see what you mean.

Dak has enough talent around him to go deep in the playoffs....unfortunately, he can't hit the broad side of a barn. And for the 10,000th time....you cannot learn to be accurate....so PLEASE....quit praying and waiting for it suddenly to happen.

That was 3 years ago (2019). He has vastly improved since then, but according to you this isn't possible...

I have argued for years on this forum and elsewhere that football is the ultimate team game.

Time and Time again, "internet experts" keep telling me "it's the QB... it's the QB"

Can you "eXpErTs" explain to me how this can be true when the exact same QB in Matt Stafford that "couldn't win a playoff game" is now in the Super Bowl? Could it be that his TEAM is in the Super Bowl and he didn't have that level of TEAM when in Detroit?

How are Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes sitting at home? Could it be that their TEAMS didn't play well enough to win?

Dak is more than capable of going to and winning the super bowl. But HE and the TEAM have to put it all together.

Go look at Brady's record - not to mention MaHomes won a SB was in 2 SB and lost in the AFC champ game. Dak cant even win 1 freaking playoff game with a loaded team. Probably the most talented team top to bottom in the NFC. Sorry but the team is there.

I do agree that a lot of the blame is with Moore. He acts like Dak is a top QB that can read defenses and makes good quick decisions and throw the ball all over the field. When Dak is none of those things. I agree Dak could be good enough to win a SB but he needs a power running team and simple play designs to not ask him to think and do too much. The problem with Dak is he is being paid like he is a great QB and he isnt close

it is a team game that is true

qb is still the most impact and value over every other positon by at least 4-5x (that is 4 or 5 time every more over every other premium positon btw)

holding a qb that is paid franchise qb money to franchise qb standard is not being a hater sorry

The problem is Dak being unrealistic about his talent he was never one of the elite so thinking he deserves their $$$$ was just wrong and bugs all of us. Look at what the elite big $$$$ have done, now look at what Dak hasn't done. All of that is wrong and we all know it. This....that was the going rate and....is BS, the guy isn't worth no 40 mill get real.

Showing us he couldn't care less about our situation just pay him sucks. The guy makes all that endorsement $$$$ and he needs 40 mill......come on get real.

That is my problem with Dak, that and he isn't that good at all, so he needs to take.....not all that good at all $$$$$.

QUICK...

who here can explain why the greatest qb's in the league (Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Herbert etc) are all sitting home with Dak this week?

These RIDICULOUS brainless arguments about other teams' progression in the playoffs are just exhausting.

And a short deal so he can re-up soon and limit the Cowboys restructure options. That decision may bite him if he cant perform the next couple years.
