I have argued for years on this forum and elsewhere that football is the ultimate team game.

Time and Time again, "internet experts" keep telling me "it's the QB... it's the QB"

Can you "eXpErTs" explain to me how this can be true when the exact same QB in Matt Stafford that "couldn't win a playoff game" is now in the Super Bowl? Could it be that his TEAM is in the Super Bowl and he didn't have that level of TEAM when in Detroit?

How are Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes sitting at home? Could it be that their TEAMS didn't play well enough to win?

Dak is more than capable of going to and winning the super bowl. But HE and the TEAM have to put it all together.
You're forgetting one key thing...

What is the one thing that Aaron and Patrick have that Dak doesn't? Actually they have one more...so each have two things that Dak doesn't. Care to guess?

It is a team sport. But the most important player on that team is the QB. That why that position is paid a lot more. Its no coincidence that Tom Brady goes to the super bowl every other year no matter who lines up with him. It is no coincidence that the 3 best teams in the AFC are lead by the 3 best QBs in the AFC.

Matt Stafford was always a supremely talented QB. All you have to do is watch him throw the football and see the arm talent. He never had a defense to back him up or a 1k RB in his 11 years in Detroit. You drop him on team with talent, and he's the difference between losing in the divisional round and going to the super bowl.

Dak on the other hand is surrounded by pro bowl talent on offense. He does not make the team around him better. In terms of talent, he is a very limited QB. I do think he can win playing like Jimmy G or Ryan Tannehill.........in run dominated offenses /throwing mostly off play action. But, he's never going to win anything trying to be Matt Stafford or Patrick Mahomes. He doesn't have their level of arm talent. The problem in Dallas is that Dak truly thinks he on their level and he's just not. It becomes very apparent when we play anyone good.

Yes...Tom played on a bunch of scrub teams his whole career lol. Went from the best coaches and talent in NE to an even more talented team in TB.

Stafford AND OBJ AND Von Miller AND Michel AND the ball bouncing off the Chest of TARTT made all of the difference for the Rams.

Yes...oooodles of talent around Dak. Same ol' song sung by the same ol' people who now think Schwartz is a "supremely talented guy" and how CD and Gallup are the best players at their positions....lol

Zeke in a wheel chair be damned!

Ok, so tell me just what has DAK PRESCOT won his entire football career....college - nothing....NFL nothing...dude cant win big games...say all you want about Rodgers and Mahomes...but those jokers have rings to show and are 2 of the Best of the Best playing the NFL...... DAK Prescott...has not and shown he cant win squat....dude doesn't deserve to be in the same category as Rodgers or Manhomes
Comparing a 16 year (only one ring) veteran quarterback Wodgers, to a kid whose played 5 seasons, priceless.

Mahomes ain't squat without an Oline. We ALL seen that. He stunk it up again yesterday with two picks while a Superbowl appearance was on the line. Yeah, he has a Superbowl. So does Foles!

Every quarterback needs a great team to continuously compete.

Point in case:

Matthew Stafford! Great quarterback and continuously lost in Detroit.

Brady won a few Super Bowls because of a great defense and great kicker, not to take anything away from the goat.

Aaron Rodgers is touted as the most talented quarterback in history, has “the best receiver” and a great running back and can’t make it to the Super Bowl.

Jimmy G was one win away from going to his second Super Bowl in the last three years and dude is ab to get traded for peanuts. He’s had great teams, head coach and defenses.

Stop trying to desperately paint our situation like Minnesota. Great receivers, great running back, pretty good defense and always miss the playoffs.

Dak has started five full seasons and we’ve made it to the playoffs in 3 of them with. Keep in mind he’s played with ATROCIOUS defenses that ranked in the bottom of the league every year except this one. The only losing season we’ve had since he's been drafted was when he got injured last year, that’s no coincidence.

To have a team competing every year, the quarterback needs a good surrounding cast. I mean… it is the NFL after all.

i've never seen someone say its only the qb who wins. Everyone knows its a team game. And if you are a betting person bet the better QB in most cases. I can tell you a lesser QB wouldn't have come back to beat the 49'rs in the 4th qtr.

Zeke, had many good years that Prescott couldn't capitalize on b/c he doesn't have the talent.
So, in your opinion, Brady just had the best supporting cast for the 22 consecutive seasons? Absurd. He rarely ever had a 1k back and he made those scrub wrs much better than they really were. Who excelled in NE at WR , left, and had any success without him? Nobody. Bill never paid wrs.

You Dak fanboys just can't handle the fact that he's not the top tier QB we are paying him to be.

Need a defense bud...one that stops people in big spots. We never had that.

Brady has always had one of the stingiest scoring defenses in most of those 22 years....

We gave up 23 points. The defense stopped SF on their final 4 possessions. The offense put the defense in a bad field position with the interception. The defense put our offense in a good field position with an interception.

The defense did plenty to give the #1 offense a chance.

Keep in mind, me football dwarves, that Dak the bus driver has started 5 seasons and been matched with varying amounts of talent and roster.
No luck in 5 seasons.

Brady's records speak for themselves. Only a Dak apologist could find flaws in the greatest career the NFL has ever seen.

I agree.

We should have beat the 49ers...it was there. To say it is all on Dak is inaccurate but he did obviously have a part.
