Coop & Dlaw cap casualties?

Wow Belt thinks they both are gone but also thinks the will resign Gallup, Wilson and Gregory. I don’t know what to think about this.

Not surprised at all........only three options with DLaw. Restructure, pay-cut or release but he's not returning on his current salary. IMO, they are done with Coop......not enough production for drama ( vax), injury issues.

I'm not going to carry the torch for #19 but the day he made it public that he could "do more in the red zone..." blah, blah, the next game (sorry I don't remember, he went off sort of but had a very good game. My point is he wasn't getting the looks and people on here were saying he couldn't get open?? Later our GM says he was disappointed with production blah, blah, blah...so was he indicating that #4 wasn't getting the ball to him for not being open or was it game planning? You can't convince me Coop wasn't open more than half the time. We just can't throw him open IMO.

since almost all of the big money players are playing below their pay grade and there is scarce money available for free agent help, it seems to make perfect sense.

Makes sense. 38 million saved post June 1st cut…. Who replaces Lawrence? A full season with him and parsons and Gregory would be great, especially with parsons in his second year


With other restructures, could bring Gallup, Gregory, kearse , hooker and maybe Wilson back too… Gallup is a long shot tho , unless they don’t want Gregory back either

Why would you start a rebuild when you have two all-pros on rookie deals and a potential #1 receiver under team control for the next 3 years. You are probably the fan that wants to trade Parsons and Diggs plus two first round picks to the Jaguars for Lawrence.

There's more than two cap casualties. What about Tyron Smith, 5.49 million space if released. Anthony Brown 5 million if released. Jarwin 4.25 if released.

Releasing ALL 5 wouldn't hurt this team one bit. Convince me otherwise.

Gallup situation is interesting, he missed the early part of the season and Wilson had to fill in, he returns and blows out his acl. Really hard to know what teams will be willing to offer.
