It would be refreshing to see the award go to an O-lineman one year.

Sometimes I think the only way to show which player is most valuable is to see what happens when he can't play.

LOL, the award should go the player who was out for the season with an injury while causing his team to flatline for the remainder of the year.

Your obsession with Dak is well documented here. That you proclaimed Rodgers as "elite" - despite suffering the same fate as Dak - exposed it once more.

You congratulated Rodgers for accomplishing no more than Dak, because your obsession blinds you.

Joe Burrow was the 2021 MVP, and "thanks" for your all-too-predictable contributions.
I 100% agree. What Burrow has done this season is just amazing.

They need to just make a different award for QBs already. Kupp was the MVP this year with a record string season, and it’s not even close.

it was actually hilarious how much of a child he was about how the media was against him this season to the point where he blamed the playoff loss on the effects of cancellation from them

and in the end they still gave him the MVP over people like Brady who had a better statistical year and Kupp who probably had one the best seasons for a skilled position player ever.

Is the postseason factored in to this. If so, there is no doubt it should be Joe Burrow. The guy came back from a torn ACL on a not very good team (the defense and receivers are good, his o-line is crap) and helped take them to a Super Bowl. If the post season is not factored in then Rodgers makes sense for sure.

Regular Season award.

Rodgers:
  • led the league by a mile in Total TDs-Total turnovers with 40 TDs and only 4 turnovers, a+36 (that is insane)
  • led the league in Passer Rating at 111.9
A lot of deserving candidates but his stats were insane and his team did go 13-4 in the regular season.

The worst matchup possible in near 0 degree and eventually snowy weather vs a team-centered around a great defense and run game. In this rare case, the Packers would've been way better of playing an away game in the playoffs this year vs the 49ers.

Either way...BIG fail by the Packers.

That’s never happened and never will. It would be refreshing to see someone other than a QB win the award but they impact the outcome of games more than any other position. This is why they get paid what they do.

Wrong pick….Tampa dealt with more injuries and Brady is 44. Would have been a nice way to send Tom off.

Just goes to show that basing this award solely on the regular season is silly. Rodgers was so "valuable" his team scored 10 points and lost their only playoff game.

Joe Burrow resurrected a dormant franchise in Cincinnati and led them to the Super Bowl. No one was more "valuable" than him this season.

Tom Brady, the GOAT, only won three MVP awards.

Did any Cowboys place in the voting ?

yea, fake news. do people just make up stuff to support their hate/bias. I have heard every word he said about the playoff loss. he did not blame anyone for the loss. I did hear him say he did not play well. Rodgers deserved the award. Anyone that watched him play game after game knows that. He is the best player on the field when he plays. He did not play well in the game against San Fran. But I do know if he had the ball with 14 seconds left he would not have taken off on a QB draw, slid down, then throw the ball to the center. Even if he was told to do that by his head coach...

This is what’s great about MVP voting and HOF for that matter. It revolves around personal performance and value during regular season not just team accomplishments in playoffs.
