That's going to be key....back in the day the NFL and the USFL fought over players. Herschal Walker being the biggest name to jump to the new league. The old USFL was a good league. The time might be right to take over the NFL. Let's face it...Goodell has done everything possible to take away from the game. There are no more collisions....hell....even when there is a good clean hit...the refs about crap themselves...thinking that has to be a flag in there somewhere. Nope....if the USFL does it right...and plays the game...the way it's meant to be played....they could do the unthinkable.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Anytime you're the only game in town, you get to set your own rules. Don't like it? Go watch a 6 hour baseball game. They have to set themselves apart from the NFL. Not be a clone or else no one will watch.

They probably weren't around or old enough to remember that league. I liked and watched that league back then. I thought they were pretty good. I was a Generals fan then, and I'll probably be one now. I just hope the Stars aren't as good as they were back then. That was so annoying.

I was a Michigan Panthers fan as I loved the helmet and uniforms and was a big fan of their WR Anthony Carter. Funny he went to Michigan. Now close to 40 years later I love visiting the state

If you watched the league in its inception, the colors, names and emblems are not a big deal. I was a Philadelphia Stars fan, because of Kelvin Bryant and Chuck Fusina.

I remember the Houston Gamblers!! Future NFL star Jim Kelly was their QB. They were actually pretty decent. Way better than the Texans!!
