Pollard is poor in pass blocking. He was still the better option to carry the ball over Zeke. Probably our best package would have been Lamb, Cooper, Schultz, Pollard, McGovern. If you want blocking, put in a blocker, not an injured and ineffective RB.
I don't disagree.. but given that Moore didn't care to run the ball anyway not having an effective running game was less of a detriment in his mind than having the better pass protector on the field. The only real question is why our coaching staff saw it that way. Especially watching the offense struggle for long stretches like it did. That is the part that bothers me the most. They didn't adjust.. they just kept doing the same crap and watching it carve up bad teams and crap the bed against good ones..
