Amari Cooper is very very far from thee problem, or even A problem around here.

But for some reason, in the exact opposite fashion as Elliott, Coopers agent allowed an extremely team friendly structure.

It's not about much more than them not being able to pass on the savings. They are probably trying to deal him and/or get him to take less.

They will bungle it probably. They like to do that then make it seem as if that was the plan all along.

1st down-8 man box - threating Dak to beat you

Kellen : We should run that Zeke dive
The one that gains 4-6 yards if Schultz can catch even a shoulder of his man?

Not defending Elliott at ALL, but still.

Everyone needs a running lane, other than maybe Barry Sanders.

But I feel your frustration.

Yeah we're so fortunate to have a declining RB on our roster taking up a large percentage of the cap.

Extremely fortunate.
You only see the simpleton emotional fan that thinks he knows everything view.

On the inside they see the work , influence, commitment, doctors injury reports, workout and rehab charts, offensive line problems, play calling effectiveness and a myriad other metrics. And yes of course the contract is a factor.
We could just as easy have a joseph randle on our hands and dak back on ir because of it.

But some people think they know everything and in the kool kids klub tearing zeke up.

Well I am defending Zeke. If used properly, He is still a top flight running back. Problem is he hasn't been used properly.

Zeke is a main back which means he gets better as the game wears on. Dallas' offensive line same thing they wear you down and in the fourth they maul you.

Now if you don't agree with this technique fine but its like trying to do surgery with a Hammer. Trying to make an offense do what they are not designed to do.

Don't try to make ANY player something he's not. What I'm saying is......................................Kellen Moore pull your head out of your bum and play to the teams strengths.

He is not a top flight TB anymore.

Just feeding him enough carries to make him effective in the 4th quarter isnt an effective strategy in today's NFL.

Man I wish what you’re saying is true. But if you watch the game and then the replay and focus on the oline you would see zero mauling. This is not a road grading unit. TB and CW lack the punch at the snap and often times get manhandled backwards. La’el has lost some of that explosiveness and Zack and Tyron are more technique than muscle. We are clearly one of the most technically sound units for sure but we are not a mauling unit. Not even close.

I hope our fans can appreciate this- we have our Sr VP in charge of the cap (theoretically) publicly proving what an idiot he and his GM father are in creating a roster and cap space. They just say it out loud for all to see. Because when you have a lifetime guaranteed contract regardless of results because Daddy’s check to buy the team cleared the bank in Feb 1989, you say stupid things publicly. And giggle.

This team continues to pretend they have an elite RB. LOL Can’t wait to see more of his feed me routine next season!

What should we expect the man responsible for that awful contract to say? “Sorry, I screwed this one up too”? Never from a Jones.
And when I blame Jerry for most of this mess. People laugh at me

What he says IS true! And you are you too.

If we can;t "pound the rock", then zeke and his contract is indeed a washed up waste. We might as well injure Pollard, and ditch him before a big contract then pick up a rookie to abuse.

Until we fix this o-line, until we start calling the right plays at the right time....until an RB can get 20+ carries a game while the other gets 10, until we can mix it up and not run three straight delay handoffs up the clogged middle (OH BIG SURPRSIE!...we caught them off guard!)....

until we truly committee to an NFL/ NFC East run game...we'll have to run Pollard in the flats for our pretend run game and MAKE zeke a waste.
