I didn't say what I really meant.why don’t you like him? I want a nasty OL at 24
I would like him to start inside and then eventually move outside to either tackle spot.I would love to see him drafted here. Still think he can pan out as a starter at LT-with proper coaching and willingness to learn(duh).
Get him in here, groom him behind Smith. See how soon he could take over, cause odds are he would start at some point in 22.

Nasty SOB isn't he? LOL
It'll be the Trevor Penning rule and will become a 15 yard penalty lolYes he did pancake the guy but why is the guy driving him backwards. Is there lack of strength
But the question becomes ..I'm a Penning fan.
I don't really hold the Combine in high regard for OLs... it doesn't translate very cleanly. Look for example at Alex Leatherwood. Crushed the Combine, played down to his tape. Of course Penning smashed every analytics threshold that does work, but I don't think that changes his evaluation a lot overall.
I think he's a day 1 starting guard for any team, cause he's just too strong to not handle NFL DTs. And once he handles the ramp up to NFL speed, I could see him playing there for the next 10 years. I don't think he's a tackle, but that door is open if you want to try that. But guard... absolutely.
But the question becomes ..
Is Penning that good at 24 at guard, to not pass up? Or can you find a solid guard later (Salyer, Kinnard, Ingram)
I would do the same path as Flozel Adams. Start him inside and then kick him to Tackle after some development. Penning at Guard would create a consistent push and good luck of getting through his anchor. He is on my short list at 24 with a few others.
Not a fan of the Minnesota Tackle, just too bigDon't think Penning makes it to 24.
But Faalele likely there for Cowboys in 2nd.
Bugler has him upper teens I believe.I would do the same path as Flozel Adams. Start him inside and then kick him to Tackle after some development. Penning at Guard would create a consistent push and good luck of getting through his anchor. He is on my short list at 24 with a few others.
Broaddus stated that the Cowboys will pick an interior linemen with the 24th pick that has a hole in their game. I am assuming he believes the pick will be Linderbam, Green, or Zion Johnson. It’s about protecting Dak and getting the running game back on track.I would like him to start inside and then eventually move outside to either tackle spot.
That my #1 priority this offseason to fix the run game, but with this team about to move on from both Cooper & DLaw you would think those needs are as high as fixing the interior of the OL. I have questions about Linderbaum but I would be happy with any of the 3 you mentioned.Broaddus stated that the Cowboys will pick an interior linemen with the 24th pick that has a hole in their game.
