The Cowboys are preparing for when they’re going to have to break the bank re-signing Parsons and Diggs.

I’m not upset about trading Cooper, Dallas needed to get something in return. What is frustrating though is they will use that savings and give most of it to Gallup which will be a mistake. Now, use that money to get Wagner is ideal but these guys just compound mistakes on top of another.
I don't think salary on Amari was the issue. Not the sole issue anyway.

So Dallas got
  1. 16 mil in cap space in 2022 (by far the main thing)
  2. 18 million cap space in 2023
  3. 20 million cap space in 2024
  4. a 5th
  5. move up a few spots in the 6th
Hope It helps result in repeating as division champions and advancing farther in the playoffs.

How much compensation did you think we'd get for a player we are about to cut?
There were some who said a second was no problem, many teams wanted him, you will not hear from him in this thread he took a beating on that thread.

As usual you ignored the context and missed the point. I'd try and explain it to you but we both know you're more interested in being right than getting it right.
Your post makes no sense lol. Don't put that on me that's your fault you made a silly post lol.

I'm sure everyone wanted him including the Cowboys. But you factor in his salary? All of a sudden a 4th rounder was too much for him.

Will keep an eye on whether Cooper connects better with Mayfield than Beckam Jr.

He’ll have another shake it up year like he did when the Raiders gave up on him. Guaranteed. Doesn’t mean though that we should have kept him. Let’s see how it works out long-term.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Waiting for Mickey to write an article about how this team had to do this, how Amari was a bad teammate, how he was bad for the locker room, how he would not work to lower his contract and to be condescending to the fan base for being upset about the terrible trade. He will start belittling fans cause they don't realize the team had to do this and the prior leaking the cutting of Amari did not play a part in such a low trade return.

Let's go Mickey, get that article out there.

Lamb need to step up as a true first anyway...drafted as one needs to be one. If he is not, I have a crazy idea...trade him BEFORE you make his pay untradeable. crazy stuff....
