Not a bad deal, $12.5 mill avg. More than I thought he would get but good for him and hopefully us.
But, time will tell if his knee gives him problems going forward.
Gallup is a good guy and hope he will maintain his hops after the injury.

Yep
The real story is the structure
I will say I wouldn’t have paid 12.5 mil per year for Gallup but you really can’t judge a contract till you know the details because they are rarely what they seem
Exactly. Year 4 and 5 will be like 16-18

I love the player from the slot, but Lamb has been a slot guy so far. Do we think he’s a top outside guy or do we find a WR on the outside and keep Lamb in the slot? I’m usually a best player available guy, but I’m not sure I want another WR in round one when a top G or C may be there.
If Olave is there I’d take him
But he likely won’t
Most important thing is forget about position or need and just take the best player. If he’s there he would likely be the best player but I think he’s gonna be long gone

Gallup is getting a lengthy deal coming off a Week 17 ACL tear, so there's likely some protections built in for the Cowboys. The Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken reports that the contract has $27 million in guarantees. This is a big contract for a wideout who hasn't cracked 1,000 yards since 2019 and who hasn't been wildly efficient. Gallup figures to be the Dallas WR2 behind Ceedee Lamb now that Amari Cooper is traded, and should be the third option in the passing offense behind Lamb and Dalton Schultz. Gallup reportedly suffered a "clean ACL tear" in January, but he's still a candidate for the PUP list early in camp.
