asking us what to do as if the DC FO is not formulating a plan for oine this early. If it were 2 weeks before game 1 and no clear answer, sure worry, at this point, the moves have just begun.
You seemed to have read many paragraphs that no one actually wrote lol

I fine with resigning Turner who was good in spot duty and is a good special teamer. Add another on day 2 and the position is covered.
agreed that my take as well...

if we can get Turner in and he looks to be solid and possibly could be the next Ced.Wilson given more reps and we got guy like Gallup in the 4th round say this will be non-issue trying to fill out our WER room.

The Cowboys should absolutely look for more than Turner as their #3.

Some of you get so homeristic with JAGs just because they are already on our roster.

i open up the front page and that all i need for proof the place acts as if the sky is falling on every move..its the basic tenor of this forum now.

seriously maybe you don't see it because you are wone of them, so it feels normal. but when i open this place up i have to sift through the 75% of the negative posts to get to one that actually sane and debatable. The rest are trash wont age well nothing but rhetoric., hyperbole, and overreactions much like draft day when a guy like Parsons was deemed huge mistake and reach lmao..yup that's this place in nutshell.

We disagreed on Armstrong, but I agree with you here. If you are talking about Turner being the 5th or maybe even 4th WR. Cool. As an actual starter. Definitely not

We need a guy to get Wilson’s 600+. He can get it

i had to re-think my consideration for Juju, especially as a 3rd WR.

Yes, His game just really dropped off after A Brown left, such that he really dropped on Steelers WR on depth chart ...and last year the shoulder injury wiped out 2021 for him.
But the disappearing act ? ..Going thru the motions ?.. distracting off field antics ?

Not only is there a question of the disappearing act, but he tends to get involved in too many unnecessary off field social media antics, the baggage ....

The optimistic side is he is young, ..well developed, game experienced, the preferred big/size WR McClay likes, and he's actually a former pro bowler.
i would not want him as a full time outside starter, but we already have that in plant.
but as a 3rd WR, with all the pluses, could he bring value as a 1 year prove it rental contract player ?

- i could see the team moving more for Emmanuel Sanders or Jaime Crowder - as both could help in the punt return/special teams game.
and either could come Stephen Jones type Money Ball cheap.

Fuller's in a different class from those other two guys. I'd gladly sign him if he's not too expensive. The other guys have catch rates barely above 50% and don't compensate for that with explosive plays.

i wouldn;t sign Wil Fuller who has fragile egg durability issues. Always hurt.
i'll find me another pathway to a vertical speedster.

Fair. I'd try to structure a deal heavy on per game incentives. He's pretty productive (especially for a WR3) when he plays.

I think they would like to draft a day 2 receiver. Turner was as good in limited action, he is more of a quality #4.

How about the original "Debo" Cordell Patterson. Dude is a beast and I think he can also play "X".

I think we'll be drafting a new WR fairly high in this draft.

This years draft class is loaded at the position. Fill that need there for cheap. Plus let’s use Pollard more in that role.
