Hate it. Mafe was a late 2nd rd pick prior to the combine, now he is a 1st rounder? He is a terrible run defender and is more of a rush specialist. Don't like the other two picks as well.

I’ve been trending more and more towards Mafe in my own mock drafts as well.

I like rounds 1 and 3. I think we can do much better in the second round. No offense to Logan Hall.

In looking at the full list, give me Dylan Parham in the second and Calvin Austin in round three.
 
Two of the first three picks will be offense though i would prefer this.

and zero interior OG help within first 3 rounds ?
So team will lay all it's marbles and confidence in underachieving Connor McGovern ...??

... and so much for that must have 3rd WR that you thought must come with the first 3 rounds, eh ? .. :confused:

No chance they rely on McGovern to forced to start at LG. The new need at DE probably now pushes Linebacker and TE further down the list, not OL or WR.
 
I am now leaning towards drafting a DE in r 1 after the FA debacle. without effective pass rush in the modern NFL you will killed
but good QBs everytime.

i don't think Cowboys are even interested in a TE now. Especially not a featured one early in the rounds.
It's looking like it's gonna be Schultz or bust from here on out.
Eventual long term contract.

Until he us extended, you have to assume they are in the market to draft one

Don’t worry brother. I don’t think there is any way the Cowboys don’t improve their offensive line with the pick unless one of the top 6 pass rushers fall.

Just listening to Dane, all he hears around the scouting community is the Cowboys are going to have an offensive draft. Still believe OL is top priority
