"Massage" is in no way the same as "remove." If the Cowboys said they'd match the contract term for term, they didn't. If he wanted to go to Denver regardless and forget the Cowboys, he wouldn't have agreed to the match in the first place since Denver made the first deal with him, your conspiracy theory notwithstanding.
