What you are saying is completely valid, but there are different ways to look at the situation.

Amari was super talented, but he shut down at times and didn’t have enough will to win. I understand trying to get rid of him and his huge salary. Conner Williams was our weakest link on the O line. I am extremely glad he is gone. Gregory would have been nice to keep, but he made so many dumb plays. I understand the frustration in how we lost him to Denver, but it might turn out to be a positive in the long run. I agree we need a stud DE. I wanted Ladarius Smith bad and think we should have paid him the 14 million per year, BUT maybe we decide to make Micah a full time DE. I think we should.

My point. I’ve said this before, there is more than one way to skin a cat/ build a team. We still have time in FA to pickup a starter our 2( Calais Campbell, Dunlop, a LT, etc. ) and the draft. Last year this front office did a pretty good job of building a solid team.

We still have time to plug holes. I think we are going to spend most of our CAP.

Remember, the Rams were building their team throughout the season.

I do understand the frustration of 25 years of mediocrity.

I agree with your take in any event. I expect us to starting bringing in some players, and many of them we will like, at least to an extent. We aren't going into the draft with 30 million to burn and a bunch of holes on the roster.

Doesn't this happen every off season? We start moaning about them not spending real money in FA in February and then in March, they don't spend any real money in FA and we moan about that as well. It's like an anticipatory moan, called a premoan (yes, my word), not to be confused with the postmoan after the season prematurely ends as it has for 26 seasons.

But ya know what, that's why a place like this exists, it's for commiserating and purging our systems so we don't take our disappointments and dashed dreams out on others. And no, others are not considered your fellow members, they know what they signed up for with this team. They get to complain about the complaining.

I don't know what some people don't get. Some people just like complaining, doesn't make them bad people so maybe instead of bashing them for being down and negative, we might show them the reasons to be optimistic and positive? If they don't buy right off, have a little patience and perseverance.

So far, we haven't done much but so far neither has the rest of the East and the Cowboys smoked them last season by an average of 20ppg. If division games don't matter to you, can't help you there. They still matter to me, a lot.

I was like many Dallas fans, I wanted one of the top 2 CB’s, but I did not whine about the pick on this forum. I waited to see how Micah would play. If he could really rush the passer. He can. I now love the pick now.

ehhh. they were fine w/ micah or slater, and the giants could've easily taken micah. and of course that's after both corners they would've taken over him were taken.

They diffidently were after one of the corners but they had good reason to believe NY was after a WR and Bears needed a QB that’s basic stuff. It may have been plan B but it was a plan

You start threads over emotion just like everyone else ...... To late to be all high and mighty when you have already been exposed.

Yes, with Garrett as our HC, I did complain. I have seen the error of my ways and will always give a reason for my complaining in the future.

That being said many of the post today are short sided and whiny. Let FA and the draft play out before the crocodile tears.

can't really compare the misevaluation of a single player to the obvious mishandling of the entire roster.

Mishandling of the entire roster? Isn’t that a little dramatic.

The front office built a pretty strong roster last year. We still have weeks of FA and the draft to improve the roster.

Who whined when they drafted Parsons? That was the best move ever. I hope they focus on the defense this year. DE, LBs, safety….I think the CBs are in a good spot but I might consider bulking up the 34 package because Micah could be like a Dware although I really like him at MLB. If they can get two tweeners on the edge and keep Parsons in the middle that would be a crazy good defense with the secondary they have.

It was an awesome pick, but a lot of fans on this site wanted one of the top CB’s. They whined about is too!

I think Micah is a natural pass rusher. I wish they would put him at DE and draft a MLB early, or sign Wagner.

Most of you will continue to whine and cry about every move, or non move, EVERY team in the league makes. I would suggest let Free Agency and the draft play out before whining about EVERYTHING.

The Rams were building their team throughout the season. Maybe we will take a page from the Rams. Not saying that, but am saying, the constant whining is for children.

Great strategy! Draft a Micah Parsons every year and sit on salary cap money while other teams keep improving with free agency and trades. Brilliant. It has worked for 26 years.
