One player I'm surprised we aren't discussing is Julio Jones

Julio Jones.

But I'm glad he isn't rumored to be a Cowboy.

He just isn't what he used to be and can't stay healthy.

I would take him on a one year deal at $3 million.

He'll most likely end up as a Colt though with Matt Ryan throwing to him.

It sounds like he still thinks he deserves big money:

Tyrann deserves a decent check. Jones is absolutely washed and does not, he's in for a rude awakening if he wants to play this year. I don't see him going here, though. Gallup, Lamb and Washington plus Schultz means there would be plays where he could be the 5th read and his ego won't allow that.

Indianapolis definitely looks like his best move. Matt Ryan is now there, they definitely need receivers, and they have a lot of cap space.

….so are you glad that “he’s not rumored to be a Cowboy” or “ you would take him for a one year deal”?

Julio’s career nosedived. From top WR and feared to “a guy.” Yes for cheap I’d take him for a lob in the corner but overall it’s a hard pass.

Makes too much sense, doesn’t it?
Yeah I think Leonard tweeted something like that.

At this point he wouldn't hurt a team, but he can't be counted on to be a big help.

There will be a fit somewhere and he will probably decide between playing for half what he wants or just quit.

I bet he quits.....maybe hooks on with a team in need during the season.

Crazy how quick Julio's career nosedived. My bro-in-law is a Titans fan and was stoked to be getting him. Jones did nothing of significance for his team. I know he was hurt, but even when he was on the field, the results weren't great.

Still, I'd kick the tires on a cheap 1 year deal (which, yes, I know won't happen).

Forget those old overpriced farts who simply can't contribute anymore the way they used to.
Agree, the more wear and tear on a player, the fewer plays he will be able to contribute at the level he used to attain. And the Cowboys are not the team to be picking up situational players, they need every down they can get out of these guys.

One thing we know about this team, especially the offense, they have to have continuity. Can't have players in and out of the lineup.

"Isn't what he used to be" and "can't stay healthy" are prerequisite for the Cowboys FO to sign you if you're a FA.

If you looked in the dictionary for "washed up" you might see a picture of him there!
