So almost half the teams are cheaper than Stephen sitting on all that cap space.
Where is the outrage over this from the usual suspects on there.

Why aren't they spending $11 on Wagner?

idk but did they all cut or trade or lose in free agency a ton of talent for nothing? cowboys did.

wait sorry they got a 5th for amari or what ever

i do not know why any one would worry about what another team is doing when the fact is cowboys lost big talents and added nothing so far

And added nothing so far?
You lose credibility when what you say is not accurate at all.

Maybe they are bad teams in general or have won playoff games lately. They didn’t subtract talent without a plan. I’m trying to genuinely understand your way of posting. It is mostly praising our owner/org, despite not having a real track record…while at the same time insulting posters. It’s just asking for issues. I don’t get it. Nothing against you. We don’t have issues. I just think of our team in a bubble of results vs what we’ve been given. I get the frustration

I note the Packers have over $15 mil in cap space.

That's funny, per a Jan 26th Packers article: "The Packers were $40 mill OVER the cap."

Yet they signed Rodgers to a huge new contract and are STILL under the cap.

Too bad the Cowboys can't do that....

He's destroyed that team for the last 4 years though and has whiffed on so many draft picks lol

“destroyed” a team that made the playoffs 3 of those 4 years.

Saints and Chiefs are the only other teams in the top half of the league in cap space to do that

That is actually a big reason they saved so much money, his cap hit was enormous next year until they gave him a new deal to lower it

Saints went from 70 over to 20 under.

Guess the cap is only "real" for certain teams.

I get that the difference is how much dead money you want to incur later on.....but I have NO idea why NOW, and the next couple of years is not the time for Dallas to go a little more in toward trying to get better.

Cowboys did fine, Cooper did not produce the last 2 years as well, and they dumped his contract.
Gregory, was not all what some fans made him out to be.
Collins gave us next to nothing the past 2 years, save on his contract as well
C. Williams...you call that losing talent.

All addition by subtraction IMO. And the off-season is not over yet. And we did sign a few players to offset a few of the losses. Just on paper it does not look as good to some fans. I will wait it out.

Just spin it your way as to the negative side, I will spin it my way to the positive side. Though I am not really positive about it all, but not going to sit around and whine either.

I'm still amazed how the Saints got there. I guess the salary cap websites aren't too reliable when it comes to cap manipulation, because it was a task trying to get them under the cap without trading quite a few players.

Hats off to them!

I was not supporting our FO nor insulting any posters.
More like making fun of some posters for the hypocrisy of it.

Just adding some humor to all of this.

I mean is it not ironic, how many posters on here complaining about Stephen not spending money on players like Wagner, then there are what, 14 teams that have more cap space than us. But yet nothing is said about those teams. I would bet many on here would say those teams are doing it the right way...hence the hypocrisy.

I hate Howie Roseman but damn, he's doing a heck of a job with the Eagles cap

Actually amazing where the Cowboys are. I expect one or two more good signings after the draft.

Dont forget the Eagles have 3 first round picks this year all in the top 20 so they will need most of that cap space to sign their draft class.

Well said although I think the Cowboys did a great job deciding who to keep and who to let go.
