For those who may not care for him or would not want to trade for him.

If you could get him for a 5th or 6th you would have to try and decide if you think he has the traits that might work with this team under Quinn vs the traits of a player you might be able to get in the 5th or 6th round.

If Dan likes him I think it would be a no brainer if you could get him for a 5th.

Upon quick review, this team’s recent 5th round picks have effectively been throwaways.

If you could get a former 1st round talent for that price, it’s a no-brainer.

There were folks here that were upset that we took Lamb over this dude.

I'm offering a 5th and 6th rounder plus Jourdan Lewis for Chaisson and Shenualt and calling it a day.

If they baulk at that then I'd pass.

Dallas has to get Boss man Fat on the field. And if they don't wanna move Brown then Lewis is the next best thing.

If they agree then we have a couple players who can maybe then things around. If not it's better then a 5th and 6th rounder can do.

Besides I wouldn't gu e up a 2nd for Cooks and for darn sure wouldn't do a 3rd for Brown

I concur with those who are saying a 5th. He has plenty of ability and I’d love to give Quinn a chance to get something out of him.

Dallas very well might be interested. He was going to be the pick had Lamb not fallen to the Cowboys.

At best he appears to be a Dorance Armstrong type. I would give them a conditional 5th for 2023.

That's it, we can't just look at names, we need Quinn to want him....on the other side of the ball I wouldnt trust ANYONE's opinion.

I get the impression that the Jones' have given the Defense to Quinn and their toy is the Offense.

The defense will be better next season. The secondary is going to be top flight. Just need one more piece.

Bryan B has stated that the Jags are looking to move on from Chaisson.

I remember loving his insane athletic ability.
He has had only one sack per season, but it sounds like the Jags moved him from a traditional 4-3 DE, which did not play to his strengths, as a rookie to a stand-up LB, that played even less to his strengths, in year 2, and of course, they are the Jags.

What round of pick would you give up to let Quinn take a shot at him? Or would you give up anything at all? I think this draft is too deep to give up our 4th, but one of our 5ths? I would be interested
He stinks. He was very close to being a massive bust in Dallas if Lamb wasn’t available. He was not good enough for the Jags, so why would anybody want him? Jacksonville would have to give me a 4th and 5th round draft pick for me to take him if I was a GM. He was another LSU pass-rusher that was massively overrated.

Indeed, but it needs to be the piece that Quinn wants.
As much as the fan base is complaining about the Cowboys moves, I am looking forward to the development of Joseph, Osa, Gholston, Semi, and Ball. Those guys are expected to get some snaps/possibly start some games next season. This draft will probably only produce two maybe three players that will get snaps this season. I would love a combination of Linderbaum, a left guard, and tight end so we can go back to our 12 personnel.

100%…fans often forget most rookies actually need some time to develop.

Im not giving up mid round picks for Chaisson. Those picks have turned into players that play a lot of snaps for us and he can’t crack the starting lineup as a 1st rounder.

That’s the way it’s been for quite some time now, since about 2007.

I said prior to that draft that he was not worth a 1st round pick. I advocated for drafting Diggs with that pick before Ceedee dropped.

Having said that, he is cheap (1.8M in 2022 and 2.4M in 2023).
