Brown is dominant and would be a huge add to this or any roster...but this doesn't make any sense at all. Ignoring the obvious of why would Tenn do this unless they got a huge return back, we let Cooper go in part because we had 3 good WRs and also because we needed cap space. So now we are going to give up what I'm sure would be a lot in a trade for Brown and also give him a cap stressing contract that leaves us unable to fill holes elsewhere for the foreseeable future?

Parker IMO made a little sense if we did pursue him because he was cheap from both a salary and trade perspective and would slot in as a complimentary #3 and #2 while Gallup was out.

lol so we trade away amari for a 5th and then we're supposedly trying to trade for another wr who will command a big contract and then have to give away a first rounder to get him?

I really wish they would stop trying to sell these fantasies. It's getting old and it's making zero sense. The reality is we aren't signing a big FA. We traded away Amari and other guys or let them walk so we can fill the roster with cheap FA bargains. It's the same cycle every offseason.

Fish gets attention but not in a good way, by any trick of the imagination!
He's really a blind pimp. AJ Brown is as toxic a player as there is. :omg:

It's almost like selling cancer as a cure-all for the common cold or cough.

If I'm being honest, I kinda like Fish, but its hard when he tries to sell his Jerry snake oil as some sort of scoop. He's just pandering and regurgitating Jerryisms(as if Jerry is a football guy) and selling rainbows and sunshine when its actually stormy the last 26 years. He is a part of the culture issue there. But it begins with Jerry and his control over the entire narrative. He must sell.

Jerry keeps Fish on the payroll because he knows he can count on him to do whatever is needed.

I look foward to trading for Brown, signing him to a huge contact, and cutting him in 2 years.

How does this guy still have a job, tell you what, if on your job you were wrong this much, let’s see how long you keep your job.

Why not just sign one of the following:

JULIO JONES
JARVIS LANDRY
WILL FULLER
EMMANUEL SANDERS
AJ GREEN
SAMMY WATKINS
OBJ
COLE BEASTLY
TY HILTON

Just to name a few options. Its ok to bring in one or 2 guys on a short term deal. unless fehoko is an undiscovered beast they are thin at wr in case of injury.

Amari must’ve done something in addition to the vax/covid thing. Even the Cowboys arent stupid enough to trade away a #1 receiver for a 5th and turn around and say WR is a need.

There’s no way this was a rational football decision. If they used his money to sign someone else, maybe. But that savings have amounted to nothing.

Ive been saying they should bring Sanders in. He is good for what they need. He can be a 2019 Randell Cobb, and is still good enough to be a spot starter until Gallup is ready
