For OL and DL get me the meanest nasty'est guys possible. For OL I love guys that enjoy dominating defenses and running them into the ground. On DL I want guys who are just relentless and give up nothing in the run game without having to play all these twists and stunts that leave us vulnerable up the gut.

Women beaters and drug addicts ....... Jerry's favorite free agent signings

You sound like someone who fell for that erroneous narrative shoveled by the ABD Club. There’s a thread somewhere that disproves that notion. There are actually 18 or so teams worse than the Cowboys for employing criminals.

I remember when the Cowboys drafted Greg Ellis in the first round. The Cowboys were coming out of a period of lots of off the field issues. Jerry was acting so proud of himself after selecting Ellis proclaiming he would let Greg Ellis babysit his kids. I am not picking on Ellis. He was a decent enough player. But when drafting a football player, especially for defense, the last attribute I would look for is "makes a good babysitter". The Cowboys used to have guys like Erik Williams who simply would match toughness with even more toughness. Erik dominated and intimidated his opponents, even if it meant stretching the rules a little. Larry Allen scared defenders with his brute strength. DTs used to talk about how they feared facing Allen because they were afraid he would embarrass them. Many just wanted get through a game against Allen without getting humiliated on the field.

The Cowboys need some of that meanness on both sides of the ball.

The first 3x's Dallas picked #24, they got instant success. Could history repeat itself?!

I don’t agree
All NFL players are physically and mentally tough or they wouldn’t be here
The difference comes from further development once they get to the organization and what culture they are exposed to. That comes from the GM, the HC and the QB
We can draft all the “tough” players we want they will become entitled and soft once they get here

You want toughness, draft Nakobe Dean, the toughest part of that UGA defense and the catalyst that drove them. A true MLB, in the mold of Bobby Wagner who was the leader of that great D in SEA.

Toughness starts on the defense and while Parsons is a good hybrid, he is not that tough guy that doesn't need recognition except on the field.

The Cowboys have not had "that guy" since Woodson retired. They need the equivalent of Cliff Harris, Woody, Ken Norton Jr., Roy OU Williams and going back to Lee Roy Jordan.

Every great DAL D has had at least one of those guys on it. I do like Parsons but he's already got stars in his eyes. He's not a lunch pail guy.
I don't think Roy OU Williams belongs on that list, he bailed when he got with the Destiny Child girl..

Bad characters indeed, but my point remains.

I don't know what your point is supposed to be ...... anyone saying that Jerry does not like problematic players is just not being honest ....... guys like Gregory are favorites of his.

He loves giving bad guys second and third chances ........ he loves looking like he cares.

Sure, Jerry loves fixing guys. He likes projects, but my point is this: we are in the bottom half of the league for number of “criminals” on the roster. The CRIMINAL COWBOYS is a media fabrication for click$.

That is not what I said though ........ I said Jerry loves to sogn free agents that are drug addicts and women beaters .......

If he could find a drug addict woman beater who also abandons their children he would be in heaven ........ guy would be on the Cowboys for 10+ years.

The absurdity of that last sentence made me laugh. You dislike Jerry so much your speculation sounds emotional.
