I've always wanted that speed WR in our offense, but honestly I don't think this team would know how to utilize him properly
It's clear they didn't want Cooper on the team any longer.
Aww man. I can't wait to see him traded for peanuts just for us to say we offered a 7th!!!
These are the moves I just dont understand. You have Cooper set at $20 million for this and the next two seasons. So you don't want Cooper at $20 per ... but are interested in Cooks a $16.2? So you trade Cooper for a 5th ... then you're desperate for another receiver. So you likely send a higher pick to pick up Cooks. He then will then want paid again?
I just don't get it

not Brandin Cooks or Tyreek Hill fastCooper was fast, Wilson was fast, Lamb is fast enough.
Those guys are fast.Cooper was fast, Wilson was fast, Lamb is fast enough.
I haven’t heard anything about his locker room stuff
But if you look at his number he need very high target numbers to put up good numbers
Trade for CooksCome on guys this stuff is being leaked because Jerry knows they had a crap FA period and he needs the distraction to show how all in he is. Besides forget WR they NEED OL and DL?

But Cooks is a different fast. He is behind Tyreek Hill in terms of speed, but other than that he is legit take the top off speed. We haven't had a receiver like that since Rocket
Cook is a 4.33 guy who has posted over 1,000 yards receiving 6 out of 8 season and 46 TD. Having said that I would not give up a 1st rd pick for him.
Question.......who thinks leaked this info? I'm betting Cook's agent......how do we know the Cowboys have any interest in his contract and/or trade. I can see where they may have told his agent.....call us IF/WHEN he's released.
I wouldn't give anything more than a fifth rounder. Assuming it's still too rich for SJ's blood but Cook has the over the top speed that this team needs.
He stepped on the wrong toes.Cooper appeared to be a guy who said stuff that might've been better left unsaid.
That was all about dumping the cap hit. They were lucky to get anything for him sadly. The problem with this ..
You trade your #1 to save $7 million this year. You are then trading a higher pick to pick up a guy who won't be your #1.
Keep the draft pick and restructure Cooper’s contract. Problem solved. Not that difficult.
