I loved Fehoko at Stanford's pro-day. But when the preseason rolled around I did not see him separating even from the scrub CBs playing in the preseason games. Maybe some work on route running will improve his separation.

I thought they drafted him as a potential replacement for Gallup. But they re-signed Gallup so maybe he will take Wilson's spot. But then they signed Washington. I don't know where that leaves Fehoko. He needs to great offseason to get on the field in the regular season, IMO

of course i have. he’s speaking to a broke grown man living at his mama’s house. we’re talking about a professional athlete. and again, high end watches also fall into the appreciable assets category.

otay. I didn’t realize that anyone was still wearing anything but apple watches anymore, unless people are now clamoring for them…….I could kick myself for selling that old Polaroid Instamatic Camera. Probably used it to by some junk Apple stock years ago

Anyone else hopeful about this guy?

With all the WR talk and everyone being down about the departure of Cooper, what about Fehoko?

I think he needed to bulk up, from what I saw of his training camp video. He's a little lean for the NFL. But I can see this guy coming on in a year or so with his level of natural ability.

Plus, he's a good character kind of guy. And I sense that Dallas is on the hunt for a certain type of player. And that's why they were willing to let go of the likes of Gregory, and Cooper.

That's my theory. And I'm going to trust the front office on it. Maybe they're onto something with a specific prototype of player, and general philosophy when it comes to personality and attitude.

I know some of you will bash me for this. But these elements matter more than physical ability, etcetera. So I'm personally choosing to take this possibility into account, because I've learned over the years that the best things happen on the team when everyone on here is whining the loudest.

They told him to bulk up to try and play TE. Tells you all you need to know about what they think of him as a WR.

That wouldn’t be all bad considering where we got him
Making an nfl team is not the easiest thing
Brown is a really good ST player and a solid guy to have at the bottom of a depth chart
If he can be that it’s a win
It’s not like he was a top pick
Dont see him beating out Washington for time being, its early I know, and if he does great for us, but Washington as of right now is penciled in more than Brown or Simi for snap count.
Simi is going to need a really good camp to unseat either Wahington or Brown.
Yet most are thinking we are in such desperation at the WR position that some even entertain burning the 24 on one...
Dont forget our secret weapon that we have still on ice...

Would have to see him play to be hopeful. For now I don't even consider him a lock to make the roster

I always hope our draftees pan out. But man, he just looked so awkward in preseason.

Really liked Fehoko as a 5th round developmental pick.

I think the team is going to screw him asking to bulk up.

The most hysterical thing about this guy is that he runs a legit 4.3.

Wasn't that during the year when everyone submitted their own 40 times lol?

This guy looks like a WR4 on the upside. They went out of their way to keep him last year though, and always gotta trust those Jones decisions.

we will find out in camp guys lie Him and Vasher and others will either step up and shine and become the next Wilson and turners or not. trying to guess now is futile. its why OTAS, Mini/Training camps and preseason games are necessary for these bubble guys..sotime like Steele they surprise .i mean Austin and Robinson were A lot better then most initially thought as well.

There’s no indication he’s going to pan out, so once again, the Cowboys will be in reaction mode there.

I agree
And if he wants to be on active roster he needs to contribute on ST
If you are past the top 3 on a roster at WR you have to bring something on ST to get yourself active for games

Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about SIMI FEHOKO: Stanford, 6040 227 4.44. Third-year red-shirt sophomore, one-year starter, Sandy, UT. Physical point of attack blocker, often times digging linebackers out of the box. Adds value with versatility to play condensed splits, slot and out receiver alignments. Matchup nightmare when lined up in tight splits and at slot receiver – too fast and athletic for backers and too big and strong for defensive backs. Impressive use of body to protect throws from defenders. Has a huge catch radius. Smooth, intelligent, disciplined route runner. Deceptively athletic, long strider who eats cushion in a hurry. Explosive transitions. Most big plays last season came from slot alignment. Has extremely violent hands at top of route, explodes into breaking routes when coming out of hand combat situations. Adjust well to off target passes. Understands field spacing and using route tempo to defeat zone coverages. Uses body and hands extremely well to defeat defenders in tight spaces. Has efficient foot speed for press releases. Struggles at times to get on top of elite corners as an outside receiver. Flashes a burst away from corners. Struggles with high behind passes. One of the most intriguing offensive prospects in the draft, he can be a comfort blanket for a young developing quarterback. Will need to work on neck and shoulder dexterity to expand vertical catch radius. Added value as an H-back type of receiver. 2020 stats: 37-574, 15.5 ypr, 3 TD. Third/fourth round. (A-31 5/8, H-10 1/4, VJ-34.5, SS-4.26).

Has a huge catch radius. ie Dak friendly

If you are past the top 3 on a roster at WR you have to bring something on ST to get yourself active for games
Fehoko averaged 9 snaps on special teams in 5 games, only 7 offensive plays in two games.
Active but DNP for 1 game; inactive for 11 games, including 4 of the last 5. Inactive for the wildcard game.
Got to improve greatly - at WR or at the proposed move to TE - to remain on the team.
