Please…It’s about good coaching coaching great talent. Both QB’s in the Super Bowl last February were number one overall draft picks.

The Cowboys were fortunate to even get the chance to draft Troy Aikman number one overall.
What are you even talking about, lol It’s about football players. Been put in the wright’s situation for the talents. Superstars don’t always win championships. Football players with great coaching that’s what wins

You are probably right, but they wouldn’t have a chance if they played anywhere other than the NFCE. Another one and done playoff appearance is likely.

Why not wait until after the draft and FA is over before you start crying about it?

Lots of young 2nd year players from last years draft that will be making an impact and bigger impact this year. The defense will surely be better. (Joseph, Cox, Wright, Bohanna)

The #1 question for the offense is will the Oline be better. If they can fix the line, then the offense can be more consistent. Take a first round stud at guard and stick in the line and this line is better.

If Cowboys go Guard, WR or Guard. TE in the first two rounds are you saying the offense wont be better?

I said it takes both. Great players with good (at least solid) coaching can yield great results. Good players with good coaching will get you good results, but not great results.

It's high time for the Cowboys' front office to spend what it takes to fortify this team with vet FAs that actually matter.

Faking 'interest' in considering veteran free agents to quell fan discontent only causes additional failures to be contenders.

Objection your honor... speculation. No one has seen this current roster take the field. And no one knows how well we are going to do in this draft.
TY!

GD 6months before game 1 and its all we read and hear..didnt know seasons were won and lost 5 weeks into an Off season..lmao..

i bet the lakers paper champion roster believed they would win it all..wow didn't even make the play in, let alone the playoffs. Team is full of big names top to bottom dream teams..they won the offseason LOL weve seen this story most big names FA acquisitions do NOT make the impact their new shiny deals pointed too,. TB brought back all 22 starters was SB team and took step back..hmm.odd huh that perception was they would at minimum make a NFCCG or another SB appearance let down so bad TB12 retires without thinking it over.

NE won the offseason last year and they were one and done..hapens many years..the exceptions to the rule are not the norm, the norm is play the games then judge..not al this wholesale wild predictions of doom SIX MONTHS BEFORE GAME 1..Drfat 3 weeks away, not one practice not one camp not PS game or two not real game played or real roster set

ITS A VERY IGNORANT TAKE AND THOSE FOLLOW IT, WELL YOU ARE What You support.

"Dak & Dallas have step back" - Colin "on-fire" Cowboys sent Amari Cooper to Browns | THE HERD

i will not even open that,.,nonsense..no proof pic of ASC says it al what has this underachiever done for his team, not himself, his raiders and cowboys teams when it counted when the lights come on..squat that easy dudes stats for starer with huis hype are what real elite revers do by game 10..thoise are his best season dez was Cops daddy when it comes to at least having 3 straight elite years all in arow.. ill take 3 dez Bryant's over what AC has brouyght.22mil was far more then his production and not just stats, He didnt elevate any team hes played for.. hes maybe a 1 but hes not game changing #1..Lamb easily replaces him, Fowler has had far better career then Gregory and our backup in Armstrong had nearly identical number and didn't jump off sides how many ties?, Steele already showed he can at least hold down the RT spot i mean weren't we 6-1 with steele at RT , when LC came back howd that work out?????

everyone wanted GZ gone he is Cwill gone he is and camp and ps will find a competent replacement. i say its solid offseason SO far with LONG LONG way to go.

This time of year all we've got is speculation. If it's objectionable then I guess the board should just be shut down until Labor Day.

They can't take a step forward, they were the #1 ranked offense in the league. There was only one direction to go and we haven't even approached the draft yet so this is pure speculation. And is Collins really a loss? Wilson would be the #3 WR, he can be replaced, they still have Lamb and Gallup.

Jettisoning Cooper's salary translates to losing less than 900 yards in productivity from last season. That money can go somewhere else to produce far more.

We have lost more than we have gained, and are not as talented as we were last year.
Think we have definitely regressed.
I know Free Agency is not over, but how many impact players are left?
The front office has not shown any ability to secure other teams players as well.
We have late draft position, hard to imagine an impact player being available at 24 ?
Down about the season at this point.

As you should be. The team is taking the year off.

It won’t be better. Even the best rookie olinemen struggle their rookie year. Tyron Smith even struggled. It may be better in a year or two on a couple of positions on the line, but Smith and Martin will have two more years of age and wear. The offense lost their number one WR. Cooper did run great routes and had excellent separation. You are kidding yourself if you think Stephen is going to spend money on decent free agents. Several of his free agent signings couldn’t make the team. When as team loses 5-6 starters, they are going to decline when you fill the positions with garbage free agents and rookies. Rookies like Parsons are the exception. The Cowboys have become cheap and greedy.

Not really concerned about it, just concerned about actually addressing the problem. Im not one of these short term only guys.

Its going to take more than one rookie lineman to fix the line anyway. But depending on who they get, I could see it being an improvement over Connor Williams.

And no, Cooper was not the #1. The Oline was the problem, not the pass catchers. Cooper was expendable if you start fixing the line.

They actually smartened up about wasting too much money on skill players. Nice to see them reinvesting into the Defense.

Great coaching with good players to get great results. .

Then BB in New England should not have gone one and done. He needs a great QB and some great players to make it happen. Parcells needed LT and many others. Jimmy Johnson needed the triplets and many others. Sean McVay needed Stafford, Donald, Von Miller, et al. All the coaches need some great players to win the big one. Don’t know why you are even bothering to argue.
