A 2 part question about Disney+

You can pay extra for geenie+ and wait in less of a line.

Yeah the system works pretty good now.
For all the really popular/long wait lines. You can reserve specific times to ride on genie+

you pay extra but it’s worth it. Rides with like hour long wait times, you can get on in 5 minutes by just reserving your times in the morning before you go to the park.

it worked well. We rarely waited in any long lines the entire week.

I agree on the hotels. We stayed at one of the “mid level” hotels and it was very nice. And you’re only in the room to sleep and shower anyway.
We went with another family when ours were that age and shared a Treehouse which was this cool little condo. EPCOT had recently opened and it was great.

The only thing that was not great was our designated camera man with the VHS tapes, me. Our movies looked like a TV commercial for the rides and I didn't get much of the family but I had the entire It's a Small World ride on tape. When that came on, every one of them got up and walked out of the room. Even the young ones.

If you never went on that ride, you missed something better than waterboarding for getting information.

Lol I remember the seats on the boat being incredibly uncomfortable and towards the end of the ride all I wanted to do was stand up.

I experienced Disneyworld once when I was 5, and once when I was 14. I've never been to Disneyland. I don't plan on going again. I'm glad that I went at the ages I did.

If you're a Star Wars fan, I would suggest going just for that. Totally worth it.

To me, Disney is not a vacation. It is a tedious week of ridiculous crowds, long lines and overpriced everything. I'd rather go to the dentist every day for a week.
I think you get a discount if you have 3 year old with you that says the G word and explains it in detail.

Fwiw, my kids enjoyed it many years ago and my current nephews and nieces seem to like it ok.

Gynecologist?

I’ve been there 4 times now since it opened and still haven’t been able to get on Rise of the Resistance!

:banghead:

Rise of the resistance had a 2+ hour wait time while we were there. With genie+ it was like 20.

Next time you go, definitely genie+ it bro. Rise of the Resistance is a must for all Star Wars fans.

Thanks. I may be going back in June so I’ll make sure to use genie+ Thanks for the tip.

I live 30 minutes from there and haven't been to Disney in 20 years. Grandson just applied for an internship there and universal. I always like universal better. But if I never go back to either it will be OK. I do like Disney springs tho. Great restaurants.

Went to Disneyland once and my chick was pregnant we didn’t know yet but she was acting like a lunatic. And then we went to Disney world and she was 5 months pregnant. We knew but I didn’t think it was a possibility when we planned the trip. So long story short I am scared to plan another Disney trip.

I’ve been to Disney Springs several times myself. Which are your favorite restaurants?

I like the Rainforest Cafe, the Italian restaurant (forgot the name) and is it the Earl of Sandwich? And I like the sauces at Guy Fieri’s Chicken place. Lots of variety and good recipes to make some yourself.

If the Disney stock plummets any lower Minnie is going to have to start turning tricks.
