We don't have the front office expertise to do what the rams are doing. I was just pointing out that the Rams are being run correctly. Goff got them them further than Dak has ever got this team but it wasn't good enough in LA. They went out and got a better Qb.

That organization not only has more expertise evaluating talent and managing the cap, but they also have higher expectations than the Jones boys who have been redefining front office mediocrity for 25 years and the bar keeps getting lower.

Stop the press....Jones' can't run football team..Shocker.

When you're one or two players out and don't have early round draft picks you're only avenue is FA. As @PAPPYDOG mentioned, it does help to be SB Champ's.

Unfortunately when your roster's short of: LG, LB, DT?, WR, T and relying on a number of untried rookies to step up you make the decision to either go all in on one player and hope or spread the risk. There isnt a necessary right or wrong, but lets not pretend we're in a similar position to the Rams.

All teams have needs and need upgrades in some or most positions but......QB is KING!
The Rams got rid of a top pick QB (Goff) and went out paid the price and picked up the missing link which was Stafford.
Now the rest is just window dressing......
YES, that's how important a quality NFL QB is for any team?

Yeah Stafford never won a playoff game until now, man was 0-3 in post season and now he is elite? lol Rams loaded up with talent, both sides of the ball because they know QB must have talent around them to have a chance. Hell Rams SB was a team win.

Thats what pisses me off! If you dont have a QB that is talented and can make all the throws your not winning anything. People say well Dak has intangibles which I dont agree with but even if he had the best intangibles without the physical talent he is worthless for winning a championship. You know who else has one playoff win but not given the chances that Dak has been given. Case Keenum! Jerry got fleeced signing him to top money on short contract. Dak knew Jerry was going to be knocking on his door to extend that to save cap money.

People do forget that lost some players too....like Von Miller and Andrew Whitworth, and Robert Woods. All three of those cleared a lot of cap space.

It hasn't been only additions for those guys, though there have been some good ones.

or like Hooker, Kearse, and neal, and kazee..sure looked to do pretty well last year..i guess we will overlook that to post another hate response huh..

Strange response to a post that said we aren't in the same position as the Rams.

What I find strange is stressing our position needs and stating we don't compare to the Rams when the Captian and the man who holds the Ball the most in his hands is a tier 3 talent.
We have surrounded our Leader with the best in the NFL and all we got is one playoff win!
Maybe it's time to consider changing the QB and then worry about our other positions!!!

I'm in the camp that thinks he would have already had multiple deep playoff runs and possibly SB wins if he was with a good organization

We can just judge him now on how is now doing with a good roster and how he will do going forward.

Even Rodgers and Wilson only have 1 SB win, so it's clearly not easy. And they have played on many good teams.

To be honest, the team other than Dallas that I'm really curious about this year is Denver.
Thats a great-looking roster on both sides of the ball, and now they have Wilson and a good OC

You're just reiterating your one pet hate, Dak. The Rams got to the SB with Goff, realised he was potentially the weak link and went all in with Stafford. Odd top end FA's or trading draft picks is a decent way of rounding off an already good team.
We aren't a QB away from competing for SB's....as we appear to be doing this year, give tgd recent draftees a chance and we may find we are just that one or pieces away.
