Romo was not detrimental, but he was never helpful either. And just listen to Romo comment on a Cowboys game...he is constantly saying Dak has options. And just so you don't think I am a Romo hater, I thought Dallas did him completely dirty not playing him when he was healthy. You don't lose your job to injury, especially not a player of Romo's caliber. It was great what Dak did holding the team together, but Romo would have given the team a much better chance of advancing.
What does this even mean?

Everyone who was watching the games in 2016 saw Mark Sanchez communicating with Dak a lot. He was clearly the one mentoring him. Sanchez knew what his role was when he signed on with the Cowboys and it wasn’t to be their starting QB. No one is saying Romo never helped Dak but he wasn’t mentoring him. He wasn’t about to help Dak take his job.
Sanchez was listening to Romo in case He got another Starting job . . . Sanchez was taking notes

Keep telling yourself that if it helps to fuel the Fire

Romo was a gracious gentlemen through the whole ordeal and thats why He is shinning today . . . You are projecting what you would do if you were in Romo's shoes.

Thats not what happened in 2016
Exactly what happened. I don’t fault him. He felt hurt. He had every right too. These guys are human not robots….

The guy Brady relied on didn't work for the Patriots. He was a private coach...and he passed away I believe
He had to. . . Dak hired him and **** the bed . . . It was either the pearly gates or be responsible for Dak

Keep stacking the Oline Dline and Defense through the draft. And draft the future QB next year. Dak is a lame duck. He is not taking this team anywhere. And I am really disappointed us fans have to wait at least 2 more years for some hope at the QB position. I still think Dallas should draft Cole Kelley this year and see if they can get lucky with a late round QB.
I wish . . . but this will not happen

Cooper was let go because this is Dak's team . . . unless the fans totally revolt by game 9, Jerry will keep building around Dak for the next 3 years

If they go WR over OL or Pass Rushing DE in 1st Rd this year . . . we will know

If Dak was a pure pocket passer and not a dual-threat QB in college he would have never been drafted. He has since given up his dual-threat game and the offense is worse off for it. Dak will now try and fit the ball into a tight window to Noah Brown on 3rd and 4 instead of using his legs to pick up 5 yards.

A coach is not going to help him at this point because Dak has no idea how to read a defense and he doesn't have the arm talent to make all throws needed. Dak is Dak and you cannot teach talent that is not there.

Dak could make up for that stuff by using his legs, but he seems terrified to do this and seems focused on being a pure pocket passer.
His leg actually fell off his body . . . For 2 years they didn't pay him . . . but after his leg fell off that's when they caved and paid him

We just unloaded a couple bums that don't show up mentally every game

I'm a known critic of Rayne, but he's not a bum.......hes just not worth that contract but it's not because of laziness, or desire.
This is true Dak is a competitor but Jerry built the team wrong trying to make Dakota something he is not . . . you know that . . . I know that

If Jerry Walker Blue takes a flashy Wide out rather then a monster Guard we will know where his head is

Will it be more delusion aka. . . Make Dak something he is not ?

Or build around who Dak is?

I understand that . . . but its not what happened

Romo was the better man . . . you have to at least give him that

And if you don't . . . its only degrading the man

Multiple interviews during and after that time. It's been well documented that Sanchez was Daks sounding board not Romo.
A repeated lie that became true . . . because of people like you who needed Romo to be that Guy . . . to justify

Do you believe Romo Nostradamas is lesser then Mark Sanchez

Listen to yourself . . . you are playing yourself

I want to know where YOU found romo had no interest in helping dak. You claimed it. Show us. Its how it works.
You want me to prove your statement? Not how it works.

Just because you didnt "see".....doesnt mean he didnt....or more importantly "had no interest".
:omg:
Yo . . . you just crushed him

Romo bled blue & silver put some respect on his name

I respect the fact that he didn’t want to lose his job especially to a rookie QB. He wasn’t a happy camper when he relinquished his starting job to Dak during the 2016 season. Romo knew the Cowboys were looking for his replacement during the draft a few months earlier when they attempted to trade up in the first round for Paxton Lynch. They would’ve taken Carson Wentz had he been there at number 4.
