Also remember the cap is going to continue to increase, so Dak's annual hit will be much less in future years than it looks right now. So basically all the fits being thrown about how much Dak was getting paid and whether or not he's worth it were, well, meaningless.

Soon Prescott will be seen as a bargain. This is what quarterbacks cost now. Unless you want to send a Jacoby Brissett out there you have to pay at least what the Cowboys are giving Dak. Leaving the argument about whether he's worth it or not out of it since that's another debate.
