Dak plays against the NFC teams . The weakest division the last 5 years or so . 1 playoff win , and a glaring losing record against winning teams. he is mediocre around 15-18 level .

The Division has been bad for sure but going strickly off the vs winning teams stat he is still way better than 15 to 18 and the division opponents wouldn't be the reason as they have not been winning teams...again not saying you're opinion is wrong (every fan is entitled to one) just saying the vs winning teams is not the best way to show it. I'm sure you dont think Herbert is a bad QB nor Stafford and they have horrible vs winning team records...Watson has a bad one...Big Ben has a good one and few people would say he has been a top QB in recent years.

Dak's individual QB stats when compared to his pears rank him well within the top 10 QB's if not higher. As does all credible QB rankings by the experts.

Team stats and records are for teams, not individual players. Good or bad.

Let me know when you have some new material that actually applies.

Only guy that has to deal is you. Dak is the QB of the Dallas Cowboys...........DEAL WITH IT!!
we need to have stats of QBs playing against winning teams....not just Dak, but compared to his peers. I assume when they play against better teams, the stats drop naturally. you are playing against a better team, but we need that comparative analysis to have a better idea.

ok, I get the first part. but best recievers? was cooper a top 10 wr? or top 15. I can easily name 15 WRs I take over him. and CD is a top reciever and gallup... hmmm, ok

I have no problem with pass catchers being some of the best overall. We had tons of talent there. And when the line was doing their job the Cowboys offense was destroying the NFL.

But we see quite clearly that once the line goes it really doesnt matter skill position talent.

Both the run game and the passing game went south with the line. Football 101. Some of these guys cant grasp these simple concepts.

Look no further than Mahomes last year in the SB. Lost a couple lineman before the SB and couldnt even score a TD.

Any kind of stat that takes team success or failure and uses that to analyze a player is garbage.

But like you said, of course stats are going to be worse against better teams. AGain...........football 101 stuff.

I wish those stats were out there somewhere. Maybe they are, but I've not seen them, but those stats would be the ultimate "shut up" to either the Dak believers or non believers.

I'm not sure even breaking it down like that would show what anyone is looking for to prove the Dak is good vs bad argument...the winning % swings pretty big for newer QB's because the amount of games that count is fluid. TB is still the huge outlier as he holds 60% and some of that is because the amount of games that count for him.

It is a good point but the cleveland and another team offered Cooper 20 mil a year . Cee Dee and Gallup are highly rated. Dak simply could not get them the ball enough .

You gave no stats because you cant.

One trick pony ran out of tricks I guess.

Ill enjoy Dak continuing to make guys like you looks silly.

Sadly, Dak is stuck with Jerry, who is a sh!tty GM. Just like Romo was.

I dont see any of that changing anytime soon.

But here are some QB stats for 2021 that you can stew on for a while:

Dak's ranking:
Passing yards: 7th
Passing TD's: 5th
Completion %: 4th
QB Rating: 3rd
Yards Per Game: 7th
Interception %: 8th
TD %: 5th

ENJOY!!!!!

I never talked about team success or no success. teams wins and losses. I said, compare his stats in games against winning teams to other QBs...his stats. not team stats......

I wish I could pull it out somewhere. if I had direct access to the Database, I could query it. but not sure if I can get access....
comparing anyone's performance in a silo is meaningless.

if I understand your comment, I tend to agree. I think there is a lot that goes into it....a team playing early against dallas in 2022, had a tougher time than teams in the second half. so I guess the one way to look at it is not the record at the time, but eventual record....otherwise there are too many factors to consider and it becomes impossible.

we offered Cooper 20M....but cleveland was willing to pay for the salary via a cheap trade....we paid a first, 40M and got a 5th back.....

they are highly rated, vs. they are a top 5 WR.... Stephon Diggs vs. Gallup and CD.....Hopkins vs. Gallup and CD....but we had better depth, so as a group the were good. so matching our 3rd WR against another teams 3rd CB gave us a better advantage perhaps, but didn't make the WR better than he really was.

Yes and with new QB's having few games that count one bad game will severly cramp any stats like average QBR vs winning teams etc. etc...

Off pure numbers or what they were suppose to do, one doesnt really match when you look at it through individuals but does work when they are looked at as a whole. For instance Cooper probably didnt live up to his pre season "Hype" (for lack of a better word) when you look at his individual numbers but as a whole the WR position had a good year last year. In other words 1vs 1 against the NFL's other best WR's they didnt look great but as a whole they did.

I think Cee Dee will have a breakout year . But agree they did not fulfill their potential yet
perhaps he will. he is in the right trajectory. he needs to improve route running, so hopefully he learned a thing or two from Cooper. he also has to stop dropping balls and make better contested catches (ala Gallup).
