On a serious note, it looks like KJ is cooperating with police and did turn in the actual shooters. Interestingly, the police did not charge Joseph or any other passengers in the car other than the shooters. This could be a sign Joseph is getting a break in return for his testimony against the shooters. But I have a feeling this is a serious enough situation that Joseph will get suspended by Goodell. But if he is not charged I wonder if he will get more than 6 games. Does anyone know of any similar cases?

In any case, it is not surprising Joseph is at the voluntary workouts this week. I expect he will be on his best behavior until the case is closed.

Look up Ben Roethlisberger's two allegations of rape: one by a hotel employee in Nevada; another by a college student in Georgia.

Six games suspended to four. No chance they reduce Joseph as he is a Cowboy (not claiming they should or should not)

The league also tossed Pittsburgh 3 out of 4 cupcake games followed by a "conveniently" located Bye week in week 5 as his suspension is over.

Not at all teams are treated equal.

Then he needs not to seek counsel of Elliott. I think he gets off if not for that stupid stunt at the St. Patty's Day parade. One of the four on that panel even said it affected their thinking.

It looks like he's avoiding the legal system, now he must deal with the court of public opinion.

You guys are horrible

Maybe he can teach Dak how to get the shot off between defenders and on target.

Ok, ok, I just couldn't resist. Ya'll really did inspire me with the clever turn of phrases.

The Roethlisberger case seems to be more of a guideline for the Watson case than for the Joseph case. Joseph admitted he was in the car with two shooters who killed a man. He is not accused himself but he could be charged with accessory to murder. The Joseph case is more like the Ray Lewis case except Joseph is apparently cooperating with police while Ray Lewis destroyed evidence and possibly tampered with witnesses. I suppose Joseph could appeal his case if he is suspended and use the Ray Lewis case in his defense argument.

Goodell was not running the league during the Ray Lewis trial. This is unprecedented. The league will wait and see what happens on the criminal side before they do anything. I see a certain writer is trying to get the Cowboys to cut Joseph. I bet the league is hoping the Cowboys will do something so they won’t have to get involved.

I brought up Roethlisberger regarding the outcome of the cases, leading to the NFL actions in response.

In the Nevada incident, the accuser didn't file criminal charges, but subsequently brought forth a civil suit against Roethlisberger a year after the alleged assault took place. An out-of-court settlement was reached years later.

In Georgia, the accuser stood by her allegation, but did not want to pursue a trial. The DA stated in a press conference afterwards that there wasn't evidence to bring up charges regardless.

The league issued no suspension against Roethlisberger in the first case; they did so in the second one.

i would question why wasn't KJ already on his best behavior and reformed the moment he was drafted into the NFL and by the Cowboys ?
Eyes and questions were already set on him per his past collegiate days. That should've already been the bar set for him.
it' was up to Joseph with life decision making choices and actions going forward.

Probably not that funny to one family

800 murders in Chicago alone last year. Murders and robberies way up from 2020 and it being tolerated and excused. If it is to be meaningful , those in control need to stop dismissing it……but until than, people have been desensitized to it and in my opinion can say whatever they want about it.
