Cory Proctor and Alan Ball were the worst I can recall of guys that were run out there as starters.

Clay Shiver was terrible as well. Maybe throw in Rob Pettiti.

Jacques Reeves stunk too.

Chaz Green needs a mention here also.

The Cowboys have had a few players over the years that could be ranked in the hopeless category. One player that stands out to me was Jacob Rogers a tackle we drafted in the second round in 2004. He had an injury history coming out of college. He wasn’t able to win a starting job and played only two games for us mostly on special teams. He suffered a shoulder injury and had to have surgery. He then suffered a series of other injuries and didn’t seem to be motivated to play. I remember Bill Parcells criticizing him. Many questioned his heart. The team finally got fed up and released him prior to the 2005 season. Can’t remember a premium draft pick that we got as little out of as him. A measly two games and that was it.

Answer any way you think the criteria fits.

the first name that popped into my head was chad Hutchinson but I don’t think that’s really fair. He just kind of looked like a goober. No one likes chads.

couple other names like Justin beariault shouldn’t really count but you can go that way.

we kicked around guys like Phil costa and Alan ball for what seemed like years.

david buehler our backup kickoff specialist definitely didnt contribute much.

Screw all that it was Quincy carter. He is our worst player of all time
Im going to go with Cory Proctor. I think the two OT's from 2005 are close. Brandon Knight was really bad too
