Alexandra Davis, who said that Jerry Jones is her biological father, reportedly dropped her lawsuit against the Dallas Cowboys owner.

Nataly Keomoungkhoun of the Dallas Morning News reported Davis instead prefers genetic testing in an effort to legally verify that Jones is her father. There was a previously scheduled hearing for her lawsuit for Thursday, but her attorneys asked a judge to dismiss it without prejudice Wednesday.

Why go through all the trouble and expense of suing Jerry Jones? He already shelled out millions to her and her mother. That would seem to be an admission she is his daughter, isn't it? Getting a legal declaration that Jerry is her father really gets her nothing since she is no longer a minor. It certainly does not entitle her to a cut of the Jones estate should Jerry pass on. She should consider moving on and using the college education Jerry paid for to build her own career.

My guess is she dropped the lawsuit when she realized she has a losing case. The money he paid out already would be considered very generous by most measures. The request for a DNA test is just a way of saving face. It will amount to nothing.

Does Jerry have to comply with any DNA testing? Interesting. I wonder what she will do with the results.

If any of his family does that ancestry DNA stuff, parentage can be narrowed down pretty quickly.

I wonder if a Daddy of Reasonable Suspicion can be subpoenaed to submit to DNA testing for parentage. With the bias against fathers in courts, I half expect it to be true.

That makes sense. Man this has been a bad offseason for Jerry. Gives us lots to talk about. Lol, last year at this time all we talked about was Dak.

Would not this settle the matter quickly and with finality?

Yes, and that is what Jerry don't want. If he was sure he wasn't, he would have requested this himself back when his baby mama got pregnant. I am leaning towards, he is the father on this one.

I'm not as down on Dak as I was after I went back and watched that game. I think some of it came down to the coaching pecking order, which I hope they work out. Everyone needs to be a team here. No "Me" types. But someone has to be in charge. Why not just let McCarthy ultimately call the shots?

I think both Alexandra and her mom ended up doing pretty well for themselves without pressing their good luck any further.
