What would you trade for Becton?

If we are going to roll the dice with an oft injured tackle, I don't see an upgrade here over Tyron. Both are injured a lot. Becton is so big, he's more likely to cause a blind spot on the field when healthy.

Jets are better off keeping him than getting anything lower than a 2nd.
I'd still offer a conditional 2023 5th where, based on 2022 playing time and performance, could become a 3rd. I know that's not a great offer, bu
Kevin Gogan disagrees
My only concern is 6'-7" guard makes it a little more difficult to throw over. I'm certainly not saying he can't play the position as I don't really know all the facts. 400 pounds is certainly guard poundage and then some.

wouldn't pay a first. why are they shopping him?

He's going into the 3rd year of his rookie contract. Usually teams wait until after the 3rd year to shop a player. They're probably afraid he'll get injured again. I'm assuming injury is the reason. I'd stay away.

Guy is a knucklehead - an injury that was supposed to keep him out 4-6 weeks - he misses the whole season.

Jets stressed to the guy at the end of the year, he should keep weight under control and stay in shape....what does he do....

Misses the off season programs and doesn't show up for the recent voluntary work-outs and is over weight.

For me, it depends on what the team does early in the draft. If they haven’t already filled the need, I’d offer them a late pick or a conditional one in 2023.

They question his desire and injuries have derailed him . Maybe offer the Jets one of the 5th rounders and and take it or leave it .
