My brother is hosting this year’s draft party which will include cheese steaks shipped in from Philadelphia (they do that one thing right), awesome chicken wings, and assorted unhealthy foods and snacks.

In addition we will be sharing and sampling a wide variety of craft beers.

And there will be plenty of trash talking as well.

Even if Cowboys screw up our first round pick tonight, sounds like you will at least be eating and drinking good.

Today is the day where I will begin my 4 month transition from despair to hope. The day Where my doom and gloom starts getting injected with some blue stars and silver sunshine. The day where Jerry proves he’s a master manipulator and we are all part of his whacked out football cult. Even if we don’t agree on the players who will be the next Dallas Cowboys, nobody can be proved right for four months or wrong for two years.

If this wasn't such a weak QB year I'd be rooting for Jerry to finally take the QB position seriously and draft a 1st round talent.

But, since it is a weak QB year, and we'll have a much higher draft pick next season, let's go O-Line to get some protection for the QB of the future.

They should be looking at Dak's replacement either this year or next. I have a feeling he doesn't finish his contract here.

This year it's a little too weak for me at QB. Next year though the team overall will be worse and Dak will regress once again with how much worse the offense has gotten in the past couple months. I believe we will have a top 15 pick next season which is much better than pick 24 this year.

I believe next year should be the year that we take a QB in the first round, and for the first time since drafting Troy Aikman, finally take the QB position seriously again.
