to the point has our center which weights more than linderbaum done anything NO most of the times on reach blocks he stands there in a daze. Linderbaum is a great center and if they had draft along with him a big hulking guard ever thing would have been okay but they didn't so same problem tis year as the last losing big time just added more head aches an this joe philbin is got to be another yes man for jerry his coaching stinks to high heaven. but this is jerry's world at least to the funeral march then stephen takes over GOOD LUCK

They need to put a pad on his back so when he gets pushed back, he doesn't hurt Dak. The OL is only as good as its weakest link. No such thing as putting a good link attach to a weak link to make it stronger...it will still break.
You will never have 5 studs on the oline
It’s just not possible
The choice of fixing guard or fixing center was the option. I think Biadasz is a better center than MCGovern is a guard
He’s played one full season and had one full off season and training camp. He played better as the season went on and should be better this year

because la'el collins hasn't been the same player since he got his contract extension...and after the car accident.
tyler smith is a good player with a chance and talent to be even better.
just be glad it wasnt a wr and they addressed our real needs along the trenches.
oh yeah....forgot.
doesnt matter.

Everyone should use this post as reference because it is correct.

Biadasz was the 18th ranked center per PFF last season. We was the 32nd ranked center the season prior.

And by several accounts he improved as the 2021 season went on.

Meaning he may not be a top-5 center but there is some indication he's better than being ranked 18th last season.

Linderbaum is gone guys there's no need to talk about him. Badiasz played well enough to be given another chance. Personally I'd like Fornoik at center, but that's a discussion for another day. Now I'm just hoping we draft Abraham Lucas in the 2nd to compete at RT. If we take Lucas we have a chance of being a dominant offensive line again.

Collins game has fallen off and i hope he can pick it back up in Cincy but with us? you have to worry about him having a bad game a couple times a year and being suspended

Linderbaum was small in the butt, with short arms, and less than 300lbs. He was not asked to visit with the staff and was never in consideration at Dallas.

Same thing they said about Mark Stepnoski and we won Superbowls with a smaller smarter center.

Could be wrong but there were rumors about Collins hip being a bone on bone situation that could limit his career. Not to mention the suspension last year - to me that led to his release

Because they are stupid and when a player hurts their feelings they will cut of their own nose to spite their face.

That's all getting rid of Collins and Cooper was about ....... Both players hurt the front office's feelings so the vengeful and spiteful sacks of crap got rid of them

Taking the vitriol out of your assessment you may also wish to consider that both missed games due to terminal stupidity last year. Collins because of the stupid bribe attempt to dodge testing and Cooper because the stupid refusal to get a vaccine that 3 billion people have already tested out for him. The front office felt like these guys were making too much money to be missing games over being stupid. I can't say I disagree.

I'm still befuddled by the Collins release. Linderbaum is the Fredrick replacement that we have been looking for.

Either they didn't want him as a guard or they felt he was getting paid to much to pay guard. They released him because Steele had proven that he wasn't much of a drop-off (and possibly just as good or better) at right tackle.

They also don't see center as the problem that many fans do.

I would have converted Collins back to guard and used my draft pick to improve another position.

And who knows what went on behind the scenes as well...
