Cowboys Get Sam Williams

Had they taken Jermaine Johnson last night, the Cowboys could have taken either Dean or Jones in the 2nd round.

Instead, since they badly overreached for Tyler Smith, they had to go DE/Edge in the 2nd round.

There were a few very good Guards to be taken in the 3rd or 4th, but these Cowboys can't develop players, especially on the Oline.

Jermain Johnson and jones and we’re a top 3 defense next year. No one runs and no one passes on us.

They get help rounds one and two on both lines and yet the beetching never stops. Exactly where Dallas needed draft picks . Glad they didn’t get sucked into taking another CB with a high pick or a TE .

Cowboys are pathetic. They forced themselves to draft for need at these two positions and reached on both.

They are doing a great job. I like what they are doing.

My main problem with him is people talk about how great of a pass rusher he is and that he has 12.5 sacks. I watched him against the top three ranked teams he faced; Alabama, Arkansas, & Baylor. He did not play like a 12.5 sack player. Limited created pressure & most of it came unblocked. He also didn't play like a 4.46 athlete.

Not a fan. Travis Jones would’ve been my choice but Nakobe Dean, Troy Anderson and Nik Bonnitto all would’ve made more sense.

Don't think he was convicted...but the fact there were 2 charges is alarming.

In the 2nd round you're still looking for clean and safe prospects who can play significnat snaps year 1.

Nope...looks like a linear athlete and a 3rd rounder just like his scouting report.

He will be a situational pass rusher this season. Agree, took him early, but probably wouldn't reach 88, either.

I like this pick. He dropped because of character concerns and struggles against the run. For the next two years, Dlaw and Armstrong will start at DE, all they are going to expect him to do is rush the passer, which he does as well as anyone in the draft.

You got it, most knew the order the first 3 rounds would go all though players available aren't what every one wanted, I believe Williams is someone Quinn wanted, at least no crazy crap going on, I except BPA at wide receiver in round 3

I like Jones too, but peep the long list of injury problems Dean has. When I saw that I was out on Dean. It's quite the list.

Good value pick ranked 48th overall. You can't have enough pass rushers. He grades out higher than any of the remaining WRs.
