See....they are pretty much guaranteed to have to give a second RB contract next year.

Bad business.

I think worst case would be to franchise him for a year. It's 9.5 million I believe. That or we draft someone next year. Rb is one position rookies do really well. We're OK for now.

Gotta be the plan - many Cowboys Fans see 2022 as the end of the road for no. 21 (contract) and no. 20 (more $$$$$ elsewhere).
Well I sure would like to keep 20 but you’re right he’s gonna get paid. Salary cap is going up so maybe we get lucky

Yes but they won't carry it this far into next off season without panicking.

This of course assumes they cut Elliott finally.

Paying Pollard 10 million instead of maybe drafting a guy today though?

It has always made me wonder how, on a subliminal level, every player sees Jones to any degree since he and Johnson parted ways--even during Parcells' tenure.
