You can cover up 1 lineman, especially a center. Problem last yr was they had 2 within the interior and their tackles misses several games.
They can cover an average one, and I'm not saying Biadasz is or isn't that, but they can't cover BAD one, even if it's only one.
Clay Shiver and Cory Proctor were proof of that.
You can be just OK and be covered....I think that's your point....and I gotcha, but a bad one...no.
On this topic I find it interesting that Biadasz' play dropped severely last year when McGovern replaced Williams. Did Biadasz think he needed to cover him? The way McGovern actually played, jeez maybe.
Either way it looked an awful lot like an average lineman trying to cover a bad lineman, and more of the same when Williams had to go back into the starting role.
Take your pick as to who was actually who in that equation.
